MBF Leasing And Merchant Services Company likes to rip off small businesses This is not in any way a legit business New York

Me and my wife owned a small business and my wife would run the business during the day. She was approced one day by a sales rep for merchant services and he gave her a sales pitch straight out of the used car salesman manual. He told her that he could get her a much better deal on a credit card machine than the one we had and it would only be $48.00 a month and that was for the machine and their services. He never once mentioned the 4 year lease on the machine and got her to sign paperwork. We didnt recieve the the signed copy of the lease for about 4 months and it was very illegible you could not understand anything on the lease unless it was in bold lettering. We went out of business and I called the MBF leasing and informed them we would not be needing the machine anymore and they were the most rude individuals I have every had to deal with and they informed mr that I could not be let out of the lease even if I sent the eqipment back they said I would have to find someone to take over the lease.

They would not budge on anything at all. Even after I explained that we were falsly lead into signing this lease and they were not hearing it they just wanted their monthly payment and I was told they could careless about my business going under my name was on the lease and that was what counted. I also contacted the sales rep that sold us the equipment and he claimed no resposibility he said everything was disclosed and he could help me find someone to take over the lease. You think he ever called me back? It has been 4 weeks and have not heard from him. I found someone to take over the lease on my own but the company is taking their time switching over the lease. I am currently talking with the federal trads commission and my state district attorny to try and put a stop to this kind of thievery. It astonishes me that there is a company or companies around that can get away with this, if myself or anyother citizen did what this company does we would be in jail!
