In July of 2005, I was first introduced to a Esther Taylor from New Merchant Services who tried talking me into a program to sell wholesale items on Overstock.com. They insisted I needed a credit card machine or POS machine. I was turned down for the machine so she immediately went to my mother and pushed the lease through for the POS. I was then told my name would be on the lease with my mother as a co-signer. This was not the case either. The name on the lease is hers and she went into a coma January of 2006. It took me months for them to speak to ME so that I could pay the lease.

The training that was supposed to be involved was a joke. They didn't train much at all. They did, however, due to poor practices, get kicked off the Overstock.com site. Subsequently, I was also removed from the site because my name was linked with theirs. At that point, I could not make any money and they would not respond to emails or phone calls.

I was told that if I did not make a profit within 90 days I would be able to return the machine with no other charges pending. I have now been fighting this for almost 3 years. I have still had to pay the $68.50 a month for a POS machine for all of these years - to MBF Leasing. MBF leasing keeps telling me that the lease is transferrable, but no one will take over the lease. They keep referring me back to New Merchant Services with a now bogus telephone number.

I have paid thousands now at this point with no end or help in sight. Do NOT do business with either New Merchant Services or MBF Leasing! MBF Leasing is now telling me that I authorized them to automatically withdraw the funds from my account. I have not given them permission to do that. They will call for about 2 weeks after the payment is due...every day, approximately 10-15 calls a day to my home. After that, they just take it from my account. After just getting off the phone from them today, they said they had no record that there shouldn't be automated payments and that they couldn't stop it unless I gave them another form of payment. I refused.

Please stay away from both New Merchant Services, Mr. Lipski and MBF Leasing.

Update on MBF Leasing

AUTHOR: Tridgway - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 09, 2008

I am still trying to get out of this lease. Evidently, someone has bought out MBF and is tracking down anyone who they think owes money. They have been relentless. My last report was on 1/29/08 and it is now 8/9/08. I have had no luck and no help resolving this issue.
