MBNA America Changes your payment date without notice; cuts grace period to 20 days Wilmington Delaware

I've been an MBNA card holder for years. Recently I've seen my interest rate creep up to over 14%, well above any other card I hold. Not a problem--I pay off every month, usually around the 18th or 19th as a due date.

Suddenly in DECEMBER (a coincidence? I doubt it), I find my payment due date on the 13th! The statement closed Nov. 23! I call to voice my discontent--I get paid on the 15th, after all, and can't pay in full til after that date. Response: they changed it. That's it. No recourse, no explanations. No doubt it's buried in the fine print somewhere in totally obfuscating language.

They are SNEAKS! Beware the shifting payment date scam!
