Have you ever gone to McDonalds and got food that tasted like it's been sitting there all day?!? Well I worked in a Martinsburg McDonalds for five years. I will explain the reason your food isn't fresh.

I've worked grill a few times, but most of the time I'm on register. We have timers on all of our meat products. From what I've seen most of the people don't throw out the food when the timers go off. I've have had management yelling at me because I throw away too many chicken nuggets. My theory was I don't care how much food I throw away because If I was a customer I'd rather have fresh food, but it was something I got yelled at for. **The Grilled Chicken is not a popular product -- So it might be sitting there all day. I remember coming in for a shift at 3:00 and about 7:00 if we are not that busy it will be the same food sitting there. The chicken stips are EXPENSIVE! They do not want to waste these, so most of the time if these don't sell they will reuse them until they are gone!

Another gross thing I've seen is people who drop food on the floor pick it up, and cook it (frozen) or if they drop hamburger buns on the floor, they pick it up and use it! This is not something I agree with.

The fries are another thing that are never fresh. Here's something they told me. If they go though the drive thru they get the old fries, most of the time it's because they can go home and they didn't know the fries were cold in the first place, but the front counter/eat in people will know and come back and complain so they ALWAYS (LOL Almost always- people didn't fall this rule) get the HOT fries.

The Susan Erwin Management McDonalds are dirty. The kitchen has cockroaches, They failed SO MANY inspections. The kids don't clean as good as they should, and the ceilings are dirty in the kitchen.

I wouldn't recommend eating at these resturants at all! If you want food in Martinsburg West Virginia GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
