McFalls Collision J a McFall, Inc Jim McFall is a SCAMMER Flint, Michigan

For over a year I refered a lot of business to McFalls, he has always worked on my families vehicles and my own a few times.

I had an incident where a lady hit me, I took it to Jim. He asked me if I wanted a new quarter panel or a patch job. Being a sports car, and a year old, I told him I wanted a new quarter panel.

So Jim submits to my insurance company an invoice for a new quarter, and they send him a check. Jim then has my car for two weeks, I start to wonder whats up, so I drive by his shop with my camera.

My car is parked right infront of the garage door window, and the back where the damage was all patched. No new quarter, a patch job.

He calls me when the work was done, I pick it up and b-line it for the ford dealership. The service mngr looks at the car, inside my trunk and told me that there was no way that Jim installed this quarter panel, the factory welds were still on the inside of the panel. (I already knew that, but giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe backing the newly finished car out of the garage, he hit it on the door or something, crazy things happen)

I call Jim, and he flat out lies to me. "I put a new quarter on your car". Of course when I tell him I have photos and a letter from a Ford employee that proves he did nothing other than patch the damage, he came clean. He offered to pay out of his own pocket to put a new quar panel on my car. He also offered to split the difference from the insurance company with me. I refused, and told him all I wanted for him to do is return all of the difference to the insurance company (and we wonder why we have such high rates).

I say "what was the deal, Jim? Miscommunication between your guys, accidents happen" hoping that he would tell me that he did not just scam me. "No, it was me, Im sorry".

So to avoid the insurance fraud thingy, I called my insurance company about a month later, told them the situation and asked if they ever received a check from Jim for the difference, they hadn't. Last I knew, they went after him for it.

I refused to have him do anymore work on my car, I wouldn't take my bicycle to Jim McFall.
