McGrath Honda AKA Honda America New car. Windshield has Foggy, white film. Unable to clean off. Would not repair or replace windshield. Elgin Illinois

We purchased our fifth vehicle from McGrath Honda, a 2013 pre-driven Honda Accord.  Beautiful vehicle.  That is until we realized the windshield had a milky white, blotchy film across it.  This film makes it impossible to see the road when the weather is bad.  Which is ridiculous.  At the time when one needs the best possible vision, one is hampered by this flaw in the windshield.  

We brought the vehicle in several times, each time they went through the motions of attempting to clean it off.  Inbetween these service appointments, we googled and found through Honda Forums and other websites that this is a common problem with Honda vehicles specifically.  Obviously, Honda knows about this defect.  When McGrath Honda finally agreed to replace the windshield, we brought the car in and Devin, the service manager, showed us no less than SIX cars on their lot that had this same problem, some worse than our car.  Again, McGrath Honda and Honda America is aware of / knows this is an issue.  After leaving the vehicle with them for 24 hours, we were contacted by Devin who informed us that Honda America would not replace the windshield.  They were done.  We were stuck with a vehicle that, when it rains or snows, the windshield become a safety hazzard.  It is impossible to see out of the winshield when weather is bad due to this cloudy, milky white film on the windshield.  We cannot believe that McGrath Honda and Honda America would ignore this hazzard.  If an accident occurs, it will be because our vision is impared by this winshield flaw.
