I purchased my phone in March of 2001. When I didn't recieve a bill for EVER I was a little concerned, but let it go. When I finally recieved it, months later, it contained 5-6 pages of calls and a sky-high $$ amount. My phone was an "emergency and free-minute use only" phone, so I knew this wasn't accurate. This is how the calls looked on my bill:

03/23 07:17 717-XXX-XXXX York Cell 2.0 .70(call made)
03/23 07:17 717-XXX-XXXX Incoming 2.0 .70(call recieved)

Basically what is was saying was that I was making a call and recieving a call at the same time and being charged for both. But my WHOLE bill was all the same thing. 5 pages of that!!
So I made my first attempt at contacting the ever so gracious WorldCom Customer Service. Yikes!! Why did I decide to do this from work? I was on hold for 1 hr and 45 minutes.(I'm glad I have a speaker phone on my desk!) After finally reaching a person, I found out that someone was cloning my phone number and using my cells to make phone calls all over the place. After faxing them a copy of my bill and waiting forever to have them review it and so on and so on, and then ME CALLING THEM BACK, SINCE THEY WONT, I got a new number and they closed this account due to fraud.

Well, the new number was activated, but for some reason, it was being displayed on my phone as always saying ROAM. so, I had to go back through the "HOLD HELL", and when I got ahold of someone, I ws promised I wouldn't get charged, just to to ahead and use it, and if it showed up on my bill or I had any problems to call at that time. Well, I tried to make a call. This is what I heard when I did, "Message H2, Welcome to Worldcom Wireless, if you would like to bill this call to a credit card or calling card press 1"..and that's where I saw red! I couldn't call at all, without paying something!! Aaaahhhh!

Well, after all of this, I haven't had a phone since August, because I can not get someone to fix it! But, I keep getting billed monthy! I WILL NOT pay a dime! Then, I get AVOID INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE! What interruption of service? YOU INTERRUPTED MY SERVICE 2 months after I got my $#&*! phone, and it hasn't been working since, and now you want $406.00?? For what??

I think classaction is the answer, definitely. Here is my email address. Please, please contact me if you are interested!!! I am soooo frustrated.
