My wife received a collections notice from CBCS for 874.79. The amount supposedly relates to an MCI phone account in New York during 2001. My wife never lived at this address; was never an MCI customer; and didn't even live in NY during this time period (or for that matter for the last 5 years before this time period).
The company cannot produce an MCI invoice of any sort - they could only produce a CBCS generated statement. I called the 800 # on the CBCS notice, and was put on hold indefinately.
