I have been unable to reach anyone at WorldCom Wireless. The bills and threats keep coming, but no one responds to the my requests to discontinue service.
First of all, in 1986 I purchased my first cell phones and pagers from MCI, later called WorldCom Wireless, Inc. When my two year contract was over I informed them I was switching to another company. They slapped me with a huge disconnect fee. So I relented and continued with WorldCom Wireless service without a contract.

Secondly,in the late 1990's I informed the Orland Park, IL store and the 800/254-8991 Customer Service Center that one of the pagers had stopped working and asked that the service be stopped to that pager. The service stopped, but they still charged me $.69 a month for taxes on the pager service to this number. I attempted many times to get them to stop the $.69 a month charge by appearing in person at the Orland Park, IL store and writing the Customer Service Dept. However, I am still being billed and paying the $.69 a month for the past 10 years.

Finally, in 2000 I went to the Orland Park store and redid my celluar service contract. They issued 2 new account numbers. At that time I asked them to discontinue the the old account for the pagers as I have voice mail on the new phones. They said that they could not do that. I contacted the Customer Service number, I sent a letter to the Customer Service Department in Nederland , Tx., and I included notes with my payments to the New York address. My requests were ignored and I still get bills from the old account (pagers) and the new account (cell phones). I finally stopped paying the pager bill in Jan. 2001. But they are still billing me.
Can anyone reach a live person at Worldcom Wireless? Do they ever respond to a complaint?
