Mealey's Furniture sold a mattress under the pretense of having a 3 yr manufacturers warranty Fairless Hills PA

I purchased an Air Dream mattress for my sleeper bed from Mealey's.  Dana, saleswoman, told me there was a 1 yr warranty from Mealey and a 3 yr manufacturer warranty against defects, etc.  I purchased the mattress based on this information.  18 months later, a defect in a seam occurred.  I called Mealey's who said they would send a replacement within 2-3 weeks.  On 12/4/14,  I received a call from Mealey's saying the manufacturer wont honor the warranty as I bought the mattress separately and not as a unit with a sofa bed.  I explained that Mealey's didnt say this when I bought the mattress and they shouldn't have sold the mattress with a manufacturers warranty.  They should have known this. I then spoke to the manager of this store who told me she would take it up with corporate and get back to me.

She never called me back and after a few days of waiting, I called the store again.  She was out but I spoke to another manager and explained.  He read the notes and basically told me not in these words but "too bad, they weren't going to replace anything or offer to help me in any way".  They were very testy and said they are not responsible if the manufacturer denies the claim.  They will not replace or be held accountable.  I wonder if they sold the mattress separately against their agreement with the manufacturer? Not only that, but they get nasty and have an attitude if you try to engage in a reasonable conversation.  They have absolutely no integrity or decency and I will not ever buy from them again as their word cannot be trusted.  BEWARE WHEN BUYING FROM MEALEY'S.
