After recieving the email, I did send in the info requested and then recieved other emails to link me to their site. The biggest problem is that I could not find out any information on this company from hotjobs at that point I became skeptical. I continued to research and still could not find anything out.

I looked at the companies web site and all the FAQs and about the company, things like that. Problem was I still could not find out anything about the company from anywhere except their own website. I even looked through their contract and it all looked legit.

I sent an email back to the person that contacted me at job-medi-group-usa.mobi requesting more information on the company. I have not gotten an answer. I finally decided to google the company address and that is when I found a link to Ripoff Reports.

I started reading the other reports with the same address as the above company and the only difference was the name of the company. The scam idea, the address, the fact that there was no other info except on their website, the same instructions to get the job, the same instructions to perform the job; all of these things were the same and I thought "this is crazy", "how do people get away with this kind of thing". Please people do not fall for these peoples tactics. You may find some other reports like mine under Financial Services or Con Artists.

I almost fell for it. I am in bad enough shape as it is. I do not need some scam artist praying upon me and making my situation worse.

What ever you do, do like I did and do not fall for these scams. I was one of the lucky ones, I only got read about someone elses misfortune. Unfortunately or fortunately I got to learn from that persons mistake I got the real scoop on the scam before it was too late.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!

I was also contacted by Medi-Group-USA.mobi. I did some checking, they list one of their partners as PayPal. I contacted PayPal and the customer service rep actually went to the site and said that they indeed were a partner with PayPal.

I filled out the independent contractor agreement. It seemed fine. All the right words were used. I was contacted by someone named Rachel Whitehead via e-mail. She was my "supervisor". Within a few days the first deposit was made into my account. I was given instructions on where to send the money. I did as instructed, it was fine. Or so I thought.

The next day my husband, who never checks the bank account, goes on our bank's website and sees that we have a negative 14,000 in our account. This was on a Friday. Immediately, we called the bank, explained the situation, and they put a stop to the withdrawal.

What had happened was the "company" that had made the deposit into my account the previous day via ACH went in and tried to reverse it. Had we not contacted the bank that day, we would have been liable for the money. We don't have $14,000 to pay back to the bank.

Afterwards, I tried contacting my "supervisor" and never heard back. Although, I continued to log on to the website each morning to check if I had any messages, today, the website has been taken down.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! If we had not stopped the reversal of the ACH we could have been in serious trouble with our bank. Today I am going to file a police report.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Being involved with these people could destroy you financially.
