Billy, your smug, pompous lecture about my not reading the fine print is a typical response from predators like you. And it's a lousy way to stay in business. Retail success is based on customer loyalty. You're already famous for defrauding your customers. As long as you keep this up, you will find your business, such as it is, shrinking until it disappears completely, leaving you back on the street trying to find another racket.

Plimus and Mediafeed lured me in with the promise of a torrent MP3 download. And I was the sucker, because I trusted you to be honest and give me what I was willing to pay you for. My one and only mistake was giving you my debit card number, when you blocked my option to pay your $4.95 trial fee with Paypal.

The Living Strings torrent Google said was supposed to exist at your website wasn't there, only a single beat-up LP that wasn't even the one I wanted. I once bought a cardboard guitar in Tijuana. This was the same thing. So I abandoned this effort and followed up on other more productive, and free, leads that I found elsewhere.

If your company was the slightest bit legitimate you would've offered a refund based on the fact that a service had not been rendered. Instead, you banked on my not canceling the trial "membership" within three days, then punished me by grabbing the exorbitant sum of another $69.95 from my debit card, making the total $74.90. When I blocked this by destroying my card, you grabbed the money from the account itself, using a POS (point of sale) claim. Al Capone did the same thing, hiring lawyers to make his embezzlement schemes "legal." 

You are a scoundrel, Billy, as are all your cohorts at Plimus and Mediafeed. Your "fine print" rules are a clever screen for picking your victims' pockets. You never intended to provide a service. The only reason for your company to exist is obviously to defraud people like myself using one of the oldest bait-and-switch sucker games in the business. When I was a teenager one of the only jobs I could get was selling bogus encyclopedias door to door to young families who couldn't afford them. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

You're a classic flimflammer, trying to stick your hopeful patrons with tin-plated wristwatches and glass "diamond" rings. You're an old-time carney man running a crooked bunco scheme. You lure trusting shoppers with the promise of providing a service. You do not keep your promises, and when your customers realize they've been had, you refuse to refund their money by lecturing them that it was their fault for falling for your fast-buck come-on. Grow up, Billy. Swindling is a crime, and you are a swindler. Why don't you just admit it? 

Right below the bright green button that says "Get it for only $4.59", Mediafeed's  site clearly states:
"cancel anytime. after your 3-day trial you will be billed $69.95 once for 1 year of access ($5.85/month)"

Then again, clicking on the blue "Recurring Payment Terms" link, you will find:
"First charge: 4.95 USD, Then 69.95 USD"

You didn't read the payment terms, or simply chose to ignore them, and now are trying to place the blame on someone else.  I'm sorry you feel this way, but there was nothing wrong done here and you wouldn't be in this situation if you had simply read the payment terms.
