We traded in our 2001 Ford Focus to Medved Autoplex on Jan 14, 2003 for a 2000 Ford Windstar. Medved agreed to payoff our trade.

We were called back to resign some paperwork on January 22, 2003 with the finance department. We also had received a call from Capital One Auto Loan to confirm our loan had been approved. We were then called back to Medved on Feb 19, 2003 to resign more paperwork because they worked us a "better deal with lower payments".

In March 2003, we started receiving calls from Ford Motor Credit, who holds the loan on our Focus. They want to know why we have not made a payment since December. I explained the vehicle was traded in to Medved & I gave Ford Credit Medved's phone number to talk to the finance department for the payoff. I also spoke to Medved & they seemed concerned as to why the payoff had not yet gone in. Finance checked into the payoff & called back to let me know that the deal had not been fully financed and until it IS financed and paperwork is received proving so, payoff would not be sent in. I was informed several times through the month of March by MedVed that this was taken care of and payoff would be sent in right away.

I then received a notice of intent to reposess on April 3, 2003 from Ford Credit for the Focus. I informed Medved, of the notice, which was received in mid March. I received a phone call AGAIN from Ford Credit on April 1, 2003 to remind me about the reposession notice. I tried to explain we did not have the vehicle, it was traded in, and Medved had it. Ford said they would take the vehicle off of Medved's lot & it would reflect on our credit. I informed the finance director, who said that everything was done & payoff was going in first thing in the morning on April 3, 2003. He also stated that Ford was notified as well.

Every time I spoke with Ford Credit, they did not have any of the information that I was told by Medved was going to Ford Credit.

On April 15, 2003, a message was left on my answering machine by the used car sales manager that we had to have the Windstar back down to Medved that night or they would send a tow truck out to get it because they could not get us financed. I called and spoke to the finance director & said no, that message was incorrect, they just needed some information from me about my new job. We discussed what I could send him to verify employment and I faxed the papers down ASAP. I was told those papers would work out ok.

I then received a call from Ford Credit that same night, April 15, 2003, stating they still did not have payoff. I gave the the finance directors name & phone number & told them to speak to him, because he told me 2 weeks ago that the payoff was being sent in.

On Thursday, April 17, 2003, we received a call from yet a different finance person down at Medved informing us that financing wasn't available and we had to bring the vehicle back down to Medved that night. I demanded to speak to the finance director, who was "unavailable, but he'd call me right back". He did not call me back, therefore I called him back about 45 minutes after I tried to reach him. He told me te same thing, that they could not get our vehicle financed after 90 DAYS of trying to do so, even though we had received several calls stating that we WERE financed. He was rude & stated "Bottm line, you bring the vehicle to us tonight or we'll send a tow truck out to get it tomorrow".

We also had put down a small down payment on the vehicle, which we still have yet to see the refund check. I am currently awaiting a call to check the status of that. We were offered no other compensation except getting our old vehicle back, and over 4,000 miles were put on our Focus in the 3 months it was there. We had only put 2,300 on the Windstar. I would NEVER EVER recommend Medved to ANYONE and I am doing my best to spread the word to anyone I know to alert them or their friends or family as well to never go there either.
