Megerle Shows Caroline Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park Ripped Off. Enslaved, cheated, abusively lied to and on a good hard working professional valued Employee Hialeah Florida

 I have since sent a letter through facebook to whom i believe to be the real unmet owners of all of the Megerle Shows carnival rides.  I have not recieved a responce in return.  If im a business owner whom has had an employee whos rights have been violated as drastically as mine had been i would definately want to look into it that the individual who worked for me is taken care of more properly then what had been.  I was actually denied the right to even notify authorities when i had been violently physically assaulted.  They did in fact steal my wallet with my lisense in it as well as social security card and i believe even my middle name.  They were abusive in every way that includes emotional, verbal, physical and sexual herassments, threats were always coming from out of them from the first day when a said property owner shot off his riffle to warn us that we could not have a life outside of the carnival.  I am trying to at the very least recieve the respect of a legal minimum wage pay per hour for over 40 hour work weeks.

I ________ am writing you this under the presumption that you are the real owners of Megerle shows based in Fl.  Id like to at this time bring to your attention and awareness matters concerning my past employment for you from March 24^th 2016 everyday until my very last workday of July 5^th 2016. 

Upon arriving the week of my starting date I at first was only offering cleaning services as ive done at hourly rates for two other carnivals including independently for Dreamland Amusements who came to Jacksonville FL Yearly.  Instead I agreed to take on a ride operators position with Megerle Shows being told that that was all that was needed by people claiming to be the owners of Megerle Shows going by the names Patty and Robert.  Patty stated that “pays $250”  I honestly knew nothing of an every Sunday payday so I worked from Thursday 03/24/2016 everyday through Sunday 04/03/2016 11 days I took note to and jotted down the whole time my hours for myself unrealizing that Sunday that had passed was even payday for the other towns help and staff.  I can tell you that through my honest notes that id journal documented on facebook by the 27^th of March after just four days of work if paid decently and legally at Fl minimum wage of $8.05 per hour I already would have made $280 dollars with still seven days left to work.  By the 28^th the next day I was already at 40 hours and $322 with six days left to work.  By the 30^th of March I was asked by someone claiming to have been with Megerle Shows for 43 years going by the name of Scott if “I was going to travel because thats how you get put on a payroll?”  By the 31^st of March I was at 55 hours and had estimated that by Sundays completion of all work hours I would’ve been getting paid at $2.97 an hour while getting ate up by flying and crawling insects attracted to the overhead lights at high heights, I was up there preventing accidents and instructing all customers.  By April 1^st I had put in 62 hours since Thursdays opening.  By the second of April I was complaining of their being no breaks neither 15 mins nor a half an hour.  I was at 83 hours and counting by that Sunday accepting only the unfair measly $250 for my time I also agreed to another week of work for  simply $200 by completion on Sunday April 10^th 2016 no use in counting those hours I thought.   After my first tear down of basically all of the smaller rides overnight by Monday April 11^th at about 4:30 pm while the last ride the merry go round was finally getting packed away I was paid the $200 plus $50 for tear down.  By Tuesday they were still parked in the Jacksonville lots and I decided that I will go to work for them in North Carolina where of coarse i helped set up every ride that I personally had counted 16 of that my hands went into yet was treated so nastily that I in fact mostly detail cleaned the rides alone by myself and have exact painfully true posts documented on just how badly the treatment had become at Craven County Jaycees Fairgrounds where the arrival time and opening start time gap was huge however all hours of any free time was intentionally consumed with egotistical and abusive mentalities of keeping us hostage.  Still no longer counting any hours I worked everyday and every hour of the opening hours of these fairgrounds as well as Carolina Beach Boardwalk until my last work day of July 5^th.  This came about when I was approached on the fourth of July by whom is imposing to be the owner of the amusement rides (Robert Megerle) about my having had to on the 22^nd of June (two weeks prior)  defend myself by backing off a drunken high maniac acting male on attack by picking up him and his girlfriends knife that they left out on a table where I was at talking after a days work that I always put in before actual work, when he came off the van ready to fight and assaulting me.  For that reason  despite two more weeks of work that I put in since then the owner of Megerle Shows known as Robert came from out of nowhere in his bluegreen hummer demanding that he wants me off of his property.  After taking it up with someone known to be his wife Patty Mergerle it was agreed upon at my request that I may receive my bus ticket to NewYork and a ride to the greyhound in which took place after another two days of work I departed that Wednesday July 6, 2016. I did not one bit appreciate the verbal abuse and treatment that they were teaching other employees to use and have toward me is why I spoke up for myself in truthfulness as much as I have done thus far.  I am now working the same employment for a proper $9 per hour minimum wage atleast  and thankfully do not have to put up with all that was imposed on me through Megerle shows whom even shot off a rifle insisting that no one comes or goes without the van.  Where I was denied laundry priviledges and treated as if “waists” despite all of the work that I put in.  Therefore I do request at this time a more proper compensation then just a busticket that I feel was in fact owed.  Even after Jacksonville there was days when I was denied my $20 and because I had in fact stopped counting hours and was unaware that payments would begin at $250 weekly even before the show I was in fact denied another amount of $50.  Sadly despite having had submitted w2 form taxpayer information I wasn’t respectably provided any records of any cash transaction for my behalf and am reaching out regarding these environment as well as my rights to receive atleast the minimum wage for the hours that ive worked and states that ive worked in.

• Two tear downs and two set ups of all carnival rides

• Two Roller Coasters (Orient and  Go Gator), two Hamptons (cars and motorcycles), a baby/toddler Scrambler, Circus Train, flying Dinos, Carousel or Merry Go Round, Fun Slide, Flying Bobs, Hang Ten, Rok n Roll ride, Bumper cars, some Airplanes, Experience ride, Drop Tower, Captain Ship, Toon Town, Bungees, Ring of Fire, and a  Double Ferris Wheel.

• All rides included heavy lifting and moving, reaching and some climbing. 8 x 8 blocks of wood or smaller for leveling.  Knots, bolts, screws, and other tools for assembling and disassembling

• Property Maintenance and Management including hand washing of rides

• OPERATED RIDES 7 DAYS A WEEK AT THE LEAST 6 HOURS A DAY SOMETIMES 12

• Enforced safety guidelines while aiming for customer satisfactions

• Trained another professionally and adequately to operate the Scrambler upon my last day
