Meineke Car Care Center Avon, IN Joe- Manager Lies and False Repairs Avon, Indiana

How do we know that you really checked all your records? You could be lying to CYA. The guy used another name because he's embarassed about being screwed over. While we were picketing the Meineke that really screwed us over (a corporate store) In central Phoenix, we talked to many other people who were ripped off like us, by the same place!!! And for more money than we lost.

Take a look at all the other rip-off reports on this website. Don't you see a pattern? Also, it's a known fact that many people will not bother to file a report as they feel so bad about getting ripped off. For every person who honked their horn, told us to "keep it up", you go guys, etc. there are at least 10 to 20 others that were burned like us but just let it go for fear of looking like a gullible person.

We get such positive feedback from the drivers going past our picket signs that we know we're hitting a chord with them. Meineke corporate has the absolute worst customer service department I've ever had to deal with. I'm just amazed that for a lousy $594.70 they could have us NOT picketing them, letting the public know how bad Meineke is, all the while they pay for national advertising to get new customers to screw over.

We would like to address this claim. We beleive it is false because the person filing the claim gives no vehicle information, exact date when the work was or wasn't done, and finally no full name. 

The manager he implicated came to work for us on Sept. 20th, 2010, the report was filed on Oct 4th, 2010, so the vehicle must have been in for repairs between those dates. We keep accurate records which are sent to corporate every day, so we can't erase our customer base. We did an extensive search for anyone named Mike who might have declined any kind of work during that time period. We came up with nothing. Next we did a search for anyone who turned down work at anytime for wheel bearings since we opened. We only had one and the customer came back the next week and had them done and is completely satisfied. Also his name was not Mike. 

We did this search because we want all our customers to be happy with the service we recieve. I myself would have contacted this individual to see if we could identify where we went wrong, but obviously this claim is not accurate, given our extensive database and ability to track our past customers.

We feel this is a malicious false report designed to slander a new shop, in a highly competitive market area. I would invite the person back to our shop if indeed they do have an issue and we would be glad to discuss the issue. We have employ experienced mechanics and when they indicate something has bad wheel bearings, I'd change them if it were my vehicle. We are a shop of integrity and I as the owner will be more than happy to listen to all concerns any customer has. I want all customers to be satisfied.

We are not a disgrace to the community, in the short 3 months we've been open we have supported the Boy Scouts of Avon, the local Make a Wish auction @TGIF's of Avon, and We support the "wear it pink"  Breast Cancer awarness foundation for women.

In summary, even if the person wanted to remain anonymous, he/she could have given the vehicle information. This looks more like a personal attack on either my shop or my Service manager Joe.
