I have been a customer at big O  for over 10 years. I recently spent a pretty penny with them recently. They said they think I might have tranny issues and advised me to seek a tranny shop in Englewood. 

Well being a single mother, I needed to find a place closer to us, so I chose Mieneky on holly and county line for further diagnosis. When I arrived @9:10a today, I told the manager what I shared above. He told me it was a busy morning and asked if I could leave my car. I said I have no to leave or get back. So he offered to get me a ride home. I said no ty, bc I won't have a way way back. Later he apologized for the long wait, as my son and I spent almost 3 hrs there. Prior to, the manager came back and told me its not my tranny and they don't know why its slipping and not always going into gear, but that I do need a basic tune up. I said that's impossible, I just did it at big o. He said do u think they lied you? They said u have tranny issues and its not your tranny. I said, no iv been with them for over 10 years, and they did lots of work on my car, and tune up was one of them. 

He then again, offered me a ride home, and I said the same thing I did when he first mentioned it. My 1½ y.o son was happy and doing great until the last 15-20 minutes. The manager then comes back and hands me my keys and says - I can't do this with him and nodds his head towards my son. I said, oh...ok. He said come back when you don't have him (my son) with you (me). I opens my eyes bigger and the manager says, or when he isn't acting like this, bc i m not going to do any diagnostics With him (my son). So come back when you don't have him with you. I said ok. But thinking in my head how this shop is still a pos scam shop. They just lost tons of business bc my car repairs are going to be pricy, I am NOT ever going to return to ANY mieniky ever again, for anything period. 

This is a really long story short, but geez, what a horrible place! 

DO NOT go there!
