I was doing a friend of mine a favor after she was brainwashed by a rep of this insane so called company. When I signed up for her program I was told that I would receive a huge discount if I bought  enough stuff to equal 35 points, so I did. I don't even remember what I got. But then the next month I noticed they took out 70 bucks!!! Then they sent me a tiny little box with a couple junk items I would of never chosen for that price??? I got a soap, toothpaste, pain relief cream, and some calcium vitamins. I swear I was appalled so I allowed my friend to order the next month what she needed to do her business and then she just paid me back.

The next 3 months I've been going through h*ll trying to get them to stop charging my credit card!! They will take different amounts and if I didn't have enough money they continue to process the payment and overdraft charges ect.... I thought I cancelled this crap but guess what??? You cannot cancel by email so then I began calling, BUT you cannot cancel phone either-WHAT???? How is it that someone cannot call up a company and speak to the supervisor and they have no way of cancelling your account??? OMG I was livid, and then if you don't cancel by the 25th they will charge your account again no matter what the situation!! You know what I felt like, like they are bill collectors and I owe them money somehow!!!

I could not get them to stop, now I have called, emailed, filled out a paper that I had to print then fax to their customer service number and I still don't know if it will stop!! I just got an email today that they tried to take out 64 dollars again and although it didn't clear the account but for me not to worry because they have sent out my soap and toothpaste as a courtesy to me because they know if they keep processing the payment they will get paid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the long story but please WATCH OUT FOR info@melaleuca.com MELALEUCA THE BIGGEST RIPOFF COMPANY I'VE EVER KNOWN. DO NOT SELL OR BUY FROM THEM OR YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE BIGGEST NIGHTMARE OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

Cancellation is easy

AUTHOR: Raelene - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, March 11, 2019

For those of you that think it is hard to cancel with Melaleuca, you must not have had good leadership. I love Melaleuca and their amazing products. I have been a customer for 25 years and gladly order products every month. I don’t know what I would do without these products! I have set up shopping accounts for some friends.

They too love Melaleuca. Once in awhile someone has wanted to cancel and I have helped them. You simply print off the form from the website, sign it, and fax it in. Easy! I have seen people cancel and get back in with Melaleuca several times. If someone is upset then they just don’t understand how it works. I love my vitamins.

If I forget to shop one month, my vitamins are shipped to me and my account is charged. This is a good thing because I can’t run down the street and get my vitamins. I could go on and on about how much I love this company. Bottom line for those who complain is that you just don’t get it. Customer Sevice is AMAZING! I have gotten and order that may have a missed product.

This has happened once in 25 years. I called them up and the product was sent out with no problem. They love their customers and value them. I am sorry for those who have struggled. I just donmt get it. Everything g with Melaleuca is simple. I highly recommend this company!!

Cancellation

AUTHOR: Paul - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, June 23, 2017

I have to agree with several others, the cancellation process may be challenging but it does happen. I am sorry, I can understand if Faxes don't go through... that is why I mail mine, the USPS has yet to fail me in that regards. If you want to end your membership you would pursue it and confirm to make sure it happens.

I did cancel mine because I was under a person I have never personally met and want to be under someone that I could personally meet and be mentored. Unfortunately, that has yet to happen, but you know what, I like the products, the pricing is similar to what you would pay for in the store... you need to look at not just the price, but how long does the product last for example, the bar of soap may be more expensive then what you get in the store, but it lasts alot longer. THe travel/sample size bars at melaleuca in fact last as long as a store bought bar of soap does.

I will continue to use these products and try new items as they come out, because there is plenty to enjoy and you can bypass what you dislike.

plain products

AUTHOR: ncpete - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, May 11, 2015

as a forward-thinking entrepreneur, i have tried Melaleuca products 10 yrs ago. I found them

to be like most MLM companies. There so little oil in the products to have any human benefits.

I could easily go to an online store and buy samilar products that is cheaper, not required to buy

every month or have to recruit people so i can make pennies on the products. No thanks. Melaleuca's

CEO has been in hot water several times now and would be embarrassed to ever be part of a company

with his views. But there will always be sheeps in the crowd for MLM companies to market to.

Are you kidding me?  You need to follow the instructions to cancel which is very easy, takes 10 minutes.  Go on the website, download the form, print it, fill it out and refax in.  thats it, simple.  You obviosly did not do that.  The people who work for Melaleuca are the nicest, most sincere people I have ever talked to.  You are the one that is rude.  Folks in Idaho falls, Idaho are not rude.  Don't bash a company that you know very little about.  They will be glad to walk you through the steps to cancelling.  Whoever signed you up should be helping you.  Maybe you should be complaining about them instead!

Amazing

AUTHOR: Koz - ()

POSTED: Monday, September 23, 2013

It amazes my how people cannot follow a simple instruction.

I canceled an this is what I did.

  • I downloaded the form to fax
  • Completed the form
  • Faxed it in.
  • Called to verify they received it.
    • They gave me a confirmation #
  • DONE DEAL

Not only that but we re-signed after another month because the products are really great. We thought we were not going to be able to order each month, but with such a large array of products, ordering regularly i easy.

Do you not visit the grocery store at least monthly. (weekly more likely).

We have had nothing but a great experience with Melaleuca and anyone wanting to learn more about the company, from an honest individual, give me a call at 888-853-7900. I will gladly tell you the Pros & Cons. By the way, there are very few cons, very few.

Can't cancel

AUTHOR: Lakewood - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, September 17, 2013

I called two months ago to cancel my account, and was told I had to fax in a cancellation form, which I did. Now I'm getting calls from them saying my account is not canceled, and I owe them money because I have not placed an order, and they are unable to charge my card.

I again told them I called and fax in my request to cancel, and was told that sometimes the faxes do not come through clean, and I was required to re-fax the form.

Required? Excuse me, but I'm not required to do anything more than what I already have done. If their fax machine doesn't work, that's not my problem. The employees are very arrogant and act more like a collection agency than customers service reps.

I wish I had read the compaints on this site before joining. I had no idea I was joining for life.

Melaleuca Vitamins My Story

AUTHOR: Brian - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 20, 2013

I am 56 years old with COPD, chronic bronchitis, emphyzema, and asthma.  I have been on Prednisone for over 10 years, a very strong steriod which reduces the inflammation in my lungs.  Long term Prednisone use has some very bad side effects, but it has kept me alive. Prednisone has given me cataracts, osteoperosis, thin skin which brusies very easily, and mentally it can and has caused mood swings.  I have been unable to come off of Prednisone because when I did my breathing would become very labored.  My pulmonary Dr. prescribed a daily dosage of 10mg/day, The dosage would be increased during flare ups of my condition.  A roller coaster ride of increasing and decreasing my prednisone medication.  Eight weeks ago I started using the Melaleuca Total Vitality Vitamin Pack.  Within a week of taking the vitamins I noticed my breathing becoming clear, no rattling, or tightness in my chest.  I was amazed, this was very life changing for me.  Somehow the vitamins have reduced the chronic inflammation in my lungs.  With the consent of my Pulmonary Doctor I began reducing my Prednisone dosage.  As I reduced my Prednisone dosage my lungs have remained clear.  I have been unable to do much if any exercise during the last 6 years due to my COPD. Before taking the vitamins my breathing would be clear 1 or 2 days per year.   During the past 8 weeks I have begun to exercise again, starting off slowly by walking the dogs around the park near my house, with no labored breathing!  I don't have to wait until 10 or 11 AM in the morning for my lungs to clear up in order to go out and call on my clients.  For the 1st time in over 10 years I am able to work @ 100% of my capacity.  I am now @ 2.5mg of Prednisone per day, and my lungs are still clear! With the consent of my Doctor I will soon be completely off of the Prednisone medication.  I am also using the "green" cleaners and laundry products from Melaleuca, which may also be contributing to my clear breathing.  I know this is only anecdotal information and in no way am I claiming it will cure any disease.  I am only presenting this information from my own personal experience, based upon my results while taking the Melaleuca Vitamins. Thank you Melaleuca for helping to drasticly improve my health.

No problem with Melaleuca.com

AUTHOR: 438 MOYE AVE - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 28, 2013

I have dealt with Melaleuca in the past and was able to cancel my account without any problem.  In fact my family missed using the products so much that we just rejoined today.  They have cleaning products that work great and that my family can use without triggering their asthma.  Tub&Tile was the only product my son could use to clean the bathroom when he was a teen that wouldn't leave him gasping for breath.  Before we found this product the only way he could clean the bathroom when it was his turn was to use vinegar, lemon juice and water mixture.

Melaleuca cures...

AUTHOR: DrCarla - ()

POSTED: Thursday, June 27, 2013

Beth, madam, if you bothered to read, no body claimed that Melaleuca actually cures anything. However, Tony's grandson's asthma has cleared up- it may have been induced by an allergic reaction to a chemical in the old laundry detergent, which is no longer being used. Thank G-d, Tony's wbc count came down and he is in remission. A friend's friend was in a wheelchair with Myasthenia Gravis. After several months of using their supplements, she was out of her wheelchair, with less pain from her Rheumatoid Arthritis, and hasn't been back. My friend's eczema cleared up within a few weeks of using Renew cream. Renew is the only thing that cleared up another friend's dry skin after two years of doctors telling her they don't know what else to try. It is scientifically proven that Omega 3s help relieve symptoms of ADHD, as well as lower triglyceride levels and improve brain health and memory. Melaleuca uses a patented process to make their supplements more bioavailable so that they work better. I am not an employee of Melaleuca. Nor, Beth, am I a moron. I am a skeptic. It took a long time before I even considered trying some of these products - and they work. Sorry, Beth dear, this does not make me a moron either. However, your accusatory nature makes it appear that it is you who is a moron. Dear.

Melaleuca

AUTHOR: rob - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Sorry for your bad experience with Melaleuca. I am a member of Melaleuca and have a business. FYI there are a large number of companies who will not let you cancell by e-mail or phone call, any one send  a e-mail  or make a phone call. Also if you wanted to cancel the person who helped you sign up should have helped you cancell. When you  signed up you  had to put in a back up order, this is done in case you forget to order one month you are sent the back up order, so the things you received is what you put in your back order. If you would have followed the cancellation procedure you would have had no problem. I have never had a problem getting someone cancelled. Maybe you did not understand how the company works which is the person who helped you become a member in the first place. That person should have eplained every thing to you and been there to help you with any problems. I use Maleleuca products and they are cheaper and much better that waht you can buy at the store. Sounds like to me you wanted out because of money problems, not a bad company or products. it is not the companies  fault. you should put blame where blame is due with yourself and the person who signed you up. Thank you

If only you had stopped raving about how you were ripped off long enough to read; ask for; find the procedure to cancel your account, your money would have been all refunded no problem, no question. Melaleuca is one of the best companies to deal with I have ever encountered.  If your friend was a representative of Melaleuca, then she should have made it clear what the back up order was and how to cancel your account.  No one is trying to brainwash anyone.  The company is fabulous and very easy to deal with.

Melaleuca Preferred Customers Can Suspend or Cancel memberships on the Melaleuca website

AUTHOR: Pat - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, March 10, 2013

I recently became a preferred customer and investigated how to cancel the membership or suspend automatic backup orders. It is pretty straightforward on the customer account information on how to either suspend or cancel the account. I don't know why this customer had so much difficulty but it could be that she didn't have the right information on how to do those things. Melaleuca is a company that has been in business for a very long time and they don't send out indiscriminate orders - they ship backup orders set up by their customers if the customer doesn't order or suspend their order that month.

Cancelling or Suspending Membership

AUTHOR: SkepticShopper - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, January 14, 2013

If you were caught by surprise by the Backup Order, either the person who introduced you to Melaleuca didn't explain it properly or you simply didn't listen. This is exactly why there is a Delivering Wellness Presentation and why new people should just stick to the presentation instead of trying to wing-it on their own. And before you sign up for anything, ask questions and read the fine print.

"What do I do if I get a product I don't like? (What is the return policy)"
There is a 30-day 100% money back guarantee on all products.

"How do I quit?"
You simply write to Melaleuca or download a fax-in form from the company website. You can call the 1-800 number for instructions (you cannot actually cancel your membership by phone, it has to be in writing, but you can call in for instructions). Yes, they are a company that wants your continued business. Yes, they will try to persuade you to stay. It's their job. Welcome to America, land of free market capitalism.

"What are the conditions to get this 30-40% discount? (What do 'Preferred Customers' agree to?)"
As a Preferred Customer, you agree to a minimum monthly purchase of 35 "points" in products, generally totaling $60-70 plus shipping plus Idaho state sales tax. If you do not order that amount by the end of the month or tell Melaleuca in writing that you wish to cancel or suspend your membership by the 25th of the month, your Backup Order of a random selection of 35 "points" in products will be charged to your card and shipped to you, automatically. (I actually customized my Backup Order so that I get the things I most frequently run out of.) I actually reiterate to my prospects, "You cannot just blow this off or forget. If you're short, you must write to them by the 25th of the month or the system will charge your credit card ready-or-not and you will get a box of products." Obviously, most members don't have a problem with this and they repeatedly place orders month after month. So if there is a problem, the problem is yours. Don't try to play dumb after the fact and then blame the company or your "friend".

How dare You, Sir!

AUTHOR: tony4wellness - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 09, 2013

Melaleuca didn't make any claim here! You said cure, I say

healing. My grandson had severe asthma since he was born and we have tried

everything even putting in an air filtration system almost comparable to a clean

room in our home but nothing resolved it until I got into Melaleuca and switched

over to their products. Seeing him suffer for 8 years of his life was too

much, any yet 2 month after I switched over, no more symptoms.  You

say it as if it was for just marketing purposes, How dare You, Sir.

And as for me, my HMO had given me an oncologist or a cancer doctor

3 year prior to Melaleuca and all we did was watched as my white cell count jump

from month after month, blood test after blood test, to the point I just

surrendered it to the good Lord. I was broken, desperate and was sadden of what

was about to happen me, I did not take the Vitamins to cure me, I took it

because I saw a boost of energy when my 82 yrs. old mother in law who saddled to

her recliner stood up and started to do things and since I was down and out, I

tried it, and it DID the job, gave me the energy. Do you think I am not thankful

for this? And in fact, Melaleuca does not even know what has happened here. You

also belittle the healing of my granddaughters eczema, have you seen people

with this condition? Some suffer a lifetime, can it be cured NEVER with

therapeutic lotions and medications, it can be controlled. See for yourself http://youtu.be/_xU5iYSGoaE . The Renew Lotion did it for her too. Cure to me is a strong word, and it would take a

lifetime to prove it and I do not make that claim, Sir! But this I know, no

other products or companies out there has left a footprint in my familys life,

only Melaleuca, Sir.

I Don't think So!

AUTHOR: tony4wellness - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 08, 2013
CANCELATION: Should be done in writing with legal signature. Legal signature to signup and legal signature to get out. If letter get to Melaleuca before the 25th of the month it cancels in that month. If after the 25th then the next month.

PRODUCT POINTS: There is a 35 points commitment every month to get wholesale or preferred price on your order. When companies advertise, they is know how much that ad would bring in, with proven numbers as far as profit and production is concern. In other words, they would not produce more than what is needed because any overage eats into profits. Natural based products anywhere is very expensive nowadays, and since Melaleucas 350 give or take number of consumable products are all naturally based. They use the they use the 35 point commitment as their forecasting tool on buying raw material and manufacturing. It turn saving money and keeping cost down for all of its members.

PRODUCTS: I dont buy a 96 load of Melapower Detergent every month, only when I am about to run out. And this is even it healed my grandsons asthma only after 2 months of use. I use to buy vitamins at the stores, cheap in price but cheap in benefits. Now, I buy the Vitally 6 Vitamins  with Oligo and it has kept me from Blood Cancer or Leukemia. Actually, my white
cell count went down only after 4 months of taking them. Again, they have about 350 products which applies to different needs and different people in my family and the 35 points is nothing.

BENEFITS: Honestly, After 3 years of using Melaleucas Ecosense products (cleaners and all), supplements & Vitamins, Shampoo, soap and even makeup for my wife & daughter, I can say not only did I save money but am living in a chemical free home environment but also a much healthier full of energy lives for all of my family members. Now, is this worth the $70.- that people complain about, I don't know, you decide!

NOTE: technical information is at the back of the application people signed. Please Read!

This guy says Meleleuca vitamins cure cancer

AUTHOR: bethh - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 07, 2013

Okay, now I've heard it all!

I have already heard the ridiculous claim that Meleleuca cures asthma, ADHD, and psoriasis.

Now, this idiot says that his leukaemia is cured by taking Meleleuca vitamins.

Does he not realise how idiotic this claim is?

This is how I see it- the idiots who become vendors of these sub-standard products consider themselves independent companies.

They sell only Meleleuca products.

Meleleuca has no legal responsibility for what its moronic vendors claim.

Melaleuca "big whigs" plant the curative fantasies into the vendor's feeble minds.

The feeble-minded vendors (that's the jerks who buy and sell the garbage, for any of you involved with Meleleuca who have limited vocabularies) latch onto the "testimonies" cited by the actual Meleleuca employees.

The vendors tell lies, based upon the anecdotal "evidence" of their "superiors".

The Melaleca company has no liability as the feeble-minded vendors consider themselves their own company, so they can lie all they ant and melaleuca is held harmless.

Conclusion:  so not believe a word they say.

Research the outrageous claims!

Do additional research and read articles about critical thinking skills when reading research findings.

Read the outrageous claims again!

RUN, do not walk, from Melaleuca!

Melaleuca - an honorable company

AUTHOR: Ann - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 01, 2013

I've been using Melaleuca/Wellness company products, on and off for 25 years, as a consumer only. I don't earn referral commissions. Melaleuca products promote healthful living with several product lines, such as household cleaners, personal care, weight loss, sports nutrition, OTCs, etc. Melaleuca products are superlative; I've extensively used dozens of them. The Melaleuca company is the Rolls Royce of companies.

I particularly took exception to this complaint that the company acts irresponsibly with transactions, cancellations etc. They explain everything very clearly in their catalogs and website. This company was only 2 years old when I found them. I am a transportation consultant's wife, and we have traveled all over the U.S., staying in some places a few years, in others, a few months, while maintaining our home.

Being away from home for long periods, I've had to cancel my Melaleuca "membership" many times, restarting it months, and sometimes more than a year later, in a different location. I also send gifts of these wonderful products to my friends and relatives, changing my shipping address as I just did this Christmas. I've NEVER had a problem, EVER! The service reps are very nice over the phone, the website flows flawlessly, and the orders are always filled correctly. The company's ordering and discount rules are super simple - and completely cancelable at any time.

While I read the nonsensical rants in this complaint it seemed obvious that this consumer had no intention of honoring the purchase contract he signed, nor the decency to cancel in the manner he agreed to. He likely wants special treatment in everything he does. His usual practice is to "speak to a supervisor" when he doesn't want to live up to his obligations. He could have cancelled correctly at any point. I can't imagine the hassle he put his "friend" through for months.

We've all known some people like this. They buck gravity, expect others to break their fall, and make everybody around them miserable for the duration. They can't follow even the simplest rules in life - like signing a minor business contract.

Just filling out the complaint form for www.ripoffreport.com, he broke 1/2 the posting rules he agreed to.

Your Friend did you an Injustice; dont blame Melaleuca!

AUTHOR: pinoymomwins - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, November 15, 2012

Your friend did you an injustice.  She should have explained the Backup Order concept.  It kicks in if you do not shop that month.  Shopping monthly for as little as 35 points for what you already buy elsewhere makes sense to me as I get better quality, non toxic, cost effective and efficient products, state of the art/first in the world to be exact and patented in many cases. Injustice because she may not have informed you of ALL that you should have known when you signed up (as you said, you wanted to help her and she may not have gone through the whole nine yards with you) so that you never even tried their over 350 products.  You needed to shop with them!  Your choice of goods that you need month after month.  So what you need to do is try their products and do not buy from outside for the 35 points at least (more, welcome!). Looks like you never even browsed or looked at your catalog which comes with your initial order.  If you are not satisfied, you can call and they have the best customer service group and all my experiences, personal or for my friends, were always great.  It's refreshing that the call center is in the US (Idaho), they speak english and are very helpful.  OF COURSE YOU CAN CANCEL - - either online (unfortunate if you didn't set up your online shopping account) or by phone. IT IS YOUR LOSS, THOUGH. Yes, they will want you to fax them a form which helps them as the reason for the cancellation is asked there.  Just like when you signed up where your friend set up your shopping account by phone, online or by fax, cancellation requires this formality too.  It doesn't take long and it's not rocket science so I don't know why you had a problem.

As I said, your friend did you an injustice in not being able to help you.  She was supposed to.  Keep that in mind and try to explore the products and the company more.  You can always reactivate and have a better experience.  Customer service can help you.  Anytime.

POSTED: Friday, November 09, 2012

Well, well Mr. P.

Interesting little assessment by you, but obviously you don't know much about Melaleuca.  I've been a very happy customer since December 2, 1996.  I use most of the products that Melaleuca markets and have found no "bad" products.  I've also found the prices to be very reasonable and often less expensive than store bought products.  AS far as the "attorney comment" you made.  Melaleuca has been in business since 1985. There are now about 800,000 happy customers shopping with them every month.  I guess 800,000 happy customers aren't quite as brilliant as you are and haven't figured out yet that Melaleuca is a bad company. Maybe we can figure it out in the next 27 years or so......since we haven't picked up on it quite as quickly as you did.

You are clearly a melaleuca employee

I had the same exact experience with melaleuca and it was aweful.  Look...people like me sign up to help our friend or family member.  Admittingly, I did not read the fine print.  My fault.  I get it, but I should be able to cancel without some horrible person on the other end of the phone trying to condescend me for my decision.  Also...i have news for you...the products aren't good and they are expensive.  I found everything that i bought, $300 worth, all to be less than satisfactory, at best.

And to all of the melaleuca employees and sales people rebutting all of the negative commments out there; it is just a matter of time before an attorney files a class action lawsuit against your company.

Melaleuca is like the gym membership that you can never cancel.

Proper due diligence can eliminate problems understanding Melaleuca

AUTHOR: memBrain - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 01, 2012

To begin, I can just as easily have stated myself as an ex-employee.  Melaleuca is an MLM company, and I initially joined for that purpose, but I quickly found I didn't have the time or desire to pursue that angle of the company.  I did, however, choose to stay a member for the purpose of getting many of their wonderful eco-friendly products (another reason I joined).

At the time I joined, I asked questions from the rep who contacted me.  I learned everything a person should know up front before considering joining any program such as Melaleuca's.  I learned that they have a minimum monthly purchase commitment.  I learned that if I do not submit an order for that month, one will automatically be sent (usually around $70, but the price may vary as the products sent vary each month).  In fact, Melaleuca even offered the opportunity to create a custom monthly package that addresses your typical product needs.  Moreover, I also learned what the exit requirements are to leave Melaleuca (which I did, but only due to a change in life status at the time.  I joined the military, and it was not feasible to continue.)

In short, I have little sympathy for most of the people complaining that Melaleuca is a scam.  It is not.  Everything is transparently available.  There's no bait and switch.  In short, the only mistake made is that most complainers did not follow through on their due diligence, and as a result, were caught unprepared.

Melaleuca

AUTHOR: Alma - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 28, 2012

Sometimes people are brainwashed but they are dealing with the wrong person.  I am a member of Melaleuca and also a Marketing Executive.  This is a very respectable company and the products are incredible.  My partner (the one who enrolled me) has been nothing but wonderful in training me on how to do the job.  I love this company and I love being in Business with them.

First of all, you have to go into it with an open mind and try the products that you are really willing to try, not just some back up order, or something that you are just doing to help a friend.  She should have sat you down and went over the products and listened to you and helped you order what you were interested in.  For instance, everyone uses laundry detergent.  The detergent that Melaleuca has in their store is unbelievable until you actually use it.  It saves money, the environment, and it is just a better quality product than a grocery store brand and it does cost less because it is concentrated and you use less.

In order to cancel, you do have to fill out a cancellation form and send it to them.  This is where your friend should have told you this after that first month that you got all those items that you did not even need.

Like all places of business there is protocol and policies that you must go by.  Things would not go smoothly if there are not rules.

I am so sorry that you are having such an awful time with this.  You should be able to get your membership cancelled since you sent in the paperwork.

The "WE" in the rebuttal

AUTHOR: JT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, September 28, 2012

In the event you were referring to me as the "consumer" then the "employee" I'll help to clarify that for you.

I AM a customer of Melaleuca products and have been for 16 years.  I live in Amarillo, Texas and Melaleuca has no facilities in Amarillo Texas, nor do they have any employees in Amarillo, Texas as far as I know.

The "we" I stated in my last paragraph of the above rebuttal refers to me being a vital part of a company who relies solely on the loyalty of consumers who purchase their products month after month and year after year.  It is a sort of partnership in my mind.  They provide the exemplary customer service, products, shipping, bookkeeping, manufacturing, production workers, staff, management team and all that goes with being a major corporation and I provide what makes all that happen.  I buy the products, along with 800,000 or so other folks around the world.  I refer other customers that buy the products.  That's what makes the "we" you refer to.  That doesn't make me an employee that only speaks of a symbiotic relationship between company and consumer that make Melaleuca a very "different" sort of company.  One that works and works very well for both the company and me as a consumer and referrer or consumers.

Hope this helps!!

Johnny

First the response to this was from a "customer" who "uses" the product..then later on the responder says "WE"..referring to the company as if they are apart of it..Companies who rebuttle to act like a consumer should try not making the same grammatical errors on multiple posts and not to confuse who they are trying to be..a consuer or employee !

Not much of a favor

AUTHOR: JT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 25, 2012

I've been a very happy customer with Melaleuca since December 1996.  I have referred a few customers who have enjoyed the products and services as we have for just nearly the same amount of time.  In all those years and all those referrals I've never had one person indicate that Melaleuca was anything but the most customer friendly, customer service oriented company they have ever dealt with.

We have had minor issues develop over the years and Melaleuca, on each occasion, stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond to please us and make any problem go away quickly.  Minor things like a bottle that leaked, or protein pack that broke in shipment.  Immediately upon calling them, they shipped us out new product free of charge and free shipping and told us to keep the other products as well.

When you grow up at some point and improve your overall attitude, I'd be happy to show you how Melaleuca really does operate.  Their business model is stellar and their products are superior to just about anything out there on the market.  That's why customers continue to buy from Melaleuca month after month and year after year.......as customers.  Better, safer, less expensive products for home and body.

Remember, Melaleuca is a billion dollar company that depends completely upon loyal customers.  A company doesn't maintain that kind of reputation in the market place and that kind of a long term customer base by ripping people off as you suggest.

Next time, I'd suggest you get the facts and make a well informed decision rather than "trying to help someone out" by signing up in something and then ragging on them because YOU didn't understand or comply with the rules.

By the way, there is a button on your online account that says, "suspend my account".  It's easy to see, easy to do and takes very little effort.  Then you wouldn't have to spend all this time and high blood pressure ranting about something that YOU caused!!

PS:  We have some very good heart health products you might want to begin using.  With your disposition, you would be well advised to get on them as soon as possible.

Hope this helps in some way!!

WHY?

AUTHOR: tony4wellness - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, April 20, 2012

People say it's hard to Cancel with Melaleuca, Nonsense! Suspension of a Preferred Membership account carries same as cancelation of your account or just become a regular customer. At Melaleuca, all you need to know is that they have to receive your signed suspension form (all info is in this form) before the 25th of the month, faxed or mailed in,  simple, or suspension happens the following month. Once you suspend a Preferred Membership account, you become a Direct customer with no point commitment but can still buy products at retail customer prices with no 30 to 40% wholesellers discount and suspension of the other benefits.

Do people do this? YES! The question arises, why would people want to buy products at retail prices? Because of the true value of it's products. You might not care about something about them and I can respect your opinion, but you cannot say that they have not done their homework on it's products. Better, more superior products was and still is the goal of this company, they pride themselves with First in the World Discoveries with over 40 Patents that are used in their products. Tell me, at what price do you put on good health for you family. For me personally, with what I know now with the products I use to used, I would never sacrifice my families health with products that has danger signs all over them, and this does not come from Melaleuca but from my own research.

I also understand that the optional Business opportunity is not for everybody but with how things are nowadays, people need help financially. Do you think JJ, Proctor & Gamble or any of the companies I buy from will send me a thank you check if I reffer them? Probably NOT.

I have been with Melaleuca more than 2 years and because I decided to share the value of Melaleuca products, I get paid for those referrals, I have not spent any money out of our family budget for any consumable products for the past 2 years and I love it! Melaleuca also has afforded me to take my family with my grandkids to a Disneyland trip, all paid for just by sharing the products and we also have plans for another trip to Hawaii this year. To some, this might be simple pleasures but I'm happy!

In closing, let me share what happened to a person who I referred to Melaleuca. It was about midnight when my phone rang and a this lady who had just started with Melaleuca called and was sounding like was in tears when she was trying to tell me of what she just experienced with Solumel, our 3 in one cleaner. So I said: "what's wrong" she said: "I have had a big problem with my ingrown toenails since she was a teenager" and She read what I had emailed her "The 101 ways how to use Solumel" and found part that where there was away to soften her ingrown toenail and be taken out and she tried it and it really worked for her. As for me, not even knowing what ingrown toenail was, and sounded like it did not have any Value added to me was just annoyed with the midnight call. She also shared,  she doesn't have to spend the $50 every month in the salon to have it done. But more than that is she is not in pain anymore. After we hanged up, my wife now awaken with the call asked me what the emergency was and I told her what this lady said. She suddenly asked me to get our Solumel and a basin of warm water. Simple Pleasures! Questions, give a call Tony 408-771-0296. God Bless.

No Reason to Cancel, just suspend Preferred Status

AUTHOR: Juan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 20, 2012

When most people sign up to Melaleuca, usually you sign up with "Preferred" status.  Basically, you agree to buy 35 points per month, IN EXCHANGE for a 25% discount or better on the products.  Is it a real discount?  Google for yourself, Melaleuca Renew, Melaleuca EcoSense, Melaleuca Zap it! or Melaleuca Vitality and you will find that quite a few people are selling these products for EVEN MORE than the full retail price that Melaleuca charges.
So... all you have to do is log into your account with Melaleuca, and "Suspend" Preferred Benefits.  Once you suspend preferred benefits, you will no longer receive an automated order AND you can still buy products from then, you just have to pay the full retail  price.  Which is STILL less than what most Internet Vendors are selling these products for.
To me it doesn't make sense if you want to do this, because their products are superior to what I buy at Publix or Whole Foods and usually a better "COST PER USE" price than what I pay at the super markets.  But if you're going to forget to order and then get pissed about the Automated order HERE IS YOUR OPTION.... Suspend Benefits... It's on your web portal, just log in and do it.

Melaleuca scam

AUTHOR: burkys7 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, April 13, 2012

It is difficult for me to believe you didn't know what your initial products were going to cost because when you order via internet or phone, they tell you specifically what the total of your order will be. It also doesn't make sense that your enroller would ask you to allow her to order things she would "need to do her business" since she is also required to purchase a minimum of 35 product points to be a Preferred Customer. I don't know why Melaleuca would "take different amounts" of money out of your account unless you or your enroller was ordering or you were receiving a back-up order (which would be the same amount every time). Melaleuca needs your signature to cancel your membership just as they needed your signature for you to become a customer. This is the reason you cannot cancel by phone or e-mail.

I have been a Melaleuca customer on and off for nearly 15 yrs. I have had to cancel my membership 2 different times over the years and have never had an issue with cancelling. The first time I cancelled, I didn't know how to do it, but called the company and they directed me to a form for me to fill out and sign and either snail mail it back or FAX it to them. Although I was told they needed the form in their hands before the 25th of the month, I dilly-dallied around and didn't get it to them until the 28th. I ended up receiving my first and only back-up order that month. However, the next month my membership was cancelled and they didn't charge my account any more.

A few years later, I was ready to become a member again because their products (mostly concentrated) are really good. I was a member for several years and then my job changed. I ended up working the graveyard shift for 4 years and didn't want to focus on placing my monthly order. I found a friend who was also a customer so I ordered through her. Since I already knew how to cancel my order, I downloaded the form, signed it and faxed it back that day....well before the 25th. My membership was cancelled and I was never charged for a back-up order.

Now, we've moved and my husband has retired. I've become a member again. This is the first time that I have looked at the business opportunity that Melaleuca offers. I am enjoying it and, working very part-time I have been averaging $400/month. I am always diligent in letting the people that I help enroll know that if they try it out and find it's "not for them" for whatever reason, to let me know and I will be happy to assist them in cancelling their membership. When I decided to partner with Melaleuca this time, I researched any complaints that might be out there. The cancellation process is the ONLY legitimate complaint I've found. I did find one or two other type of complaints, but they were obviously not legit because the person complaining was saying things that Melaleuca doesn't do, or have or allow their reps to do.

I'm sorry you had a difficult time cancelling and that there wasn't someone available to help you cancel. If you are still having problems, I would be happy to assist you with it.

facts....

AUTHOR: tony4wellness - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 31, 2012

First of All, the backup order plan from Melaleuca works, if and only if you fail to order your 35 product point commitment does it come into play, this is explained during the presentation and should have been explained by the person who invited you as I do. It is better than Auto Ship Programs with other company out there, wherein the same products each and every month is shipped because all they have to offer is a limited number of products. I have heard 'It's HARD to cancel", NOT TRUE! If you decide to cancel your membership, it's really easy to do. All you do is print a cancelation form and fax in your request, why fax?, because of your legal signature, simple! If faxed on or before the 25th of the month, account is canceled for current month and if after the 25th, it will be for the following month. With Melaleuca, There are more than 350 consumable products to choose from. So, Auto Ship Program dont work. As far as the 35 points commitment to get products at wholesale is nothing, just switch stores do your shopping at Melaleuca. I have NOT ordered lesser than 64 points each and every month that I have been with them. Second, like Amazon,  Ebay or any other sites that do business except for companies that issues RMA (electronics), shipping and handling are services rendered or when you return products, you pay. The question is, when you have used up your vitamins for 90 days and decide that they dont work or didnt FEEL any improvement or energy, can you return them? With Melaleuca, YES, up to 90 days warranty, no questions asked. Third, I paid $29.- to join Melaleuca for the promise of non-chemical base products and it did make my family healthier with Natural based products, in fact my grandson who had asthma for 6yrs. was healed just by using their detergent, as per me, for the past 4 yrs, my oncologist or cancer doctor has blood test after blood test done on me because I might have Leukemia or cancer of the blood. And after taking their Vitamins for 4 months, I cried when they told me my white cell count went down to normal to everybody's amazement. Tell me, What price do you put on your HEALTH?   Added to that, the revenue sharing program has helped me, I made over 20K last year,  just for telling people about products that are GREAT and this all happened for a $29 investment, call me crazy, if you calculate even if you spend $70 or 35 points for a year that's only $840 for a year for products that my family uses yearly, CHEAP, and this is not even part of cost of doing business, we came out way ahead. And even if, I didnt make money, just with the deduction I had on my schedule C, because I did signed up also to become an Independent Marketing Executive with them and it was worth it. Listen really hard for those don't have any deductions. Value of products was my main concern; addition income was a pleasant surprise". I'm sorry, I have not made my first Million Dollar yet on Melaleuca but I'm already a big big Winner when it comes to good health for my family and myself, that is KING to me!  I welcome any questions about Melaleuca, their products or even the research I have done, which are now a part of me and my family now as a Blessing'. Call me at 408-771-0296.. God Bless!

I am a member with Melaleuca and I do love their products.  I did at one time ran into some hard times.  I called them and asked them what must I do to stop service for now.  I assured them that I would return.  They told me just how to write in or e-mail them and ask them to cancel my service.  I did just what they said and the following month my credit card was not being charged.  Make sure you call them and just tell them that you need to suspend your service for now.  They will tell you and they will not bother you unless you call them back.
