I had a friend who was starting up with Melaleuca. I didn't know much about it, but she made it sound great. I do not blame her as to each is own.

I felt bad and decided to sign up. I was told that I buy these products any way. yes this is true, and yes it is good to use prouducts good for my home.

So I hurried and placed an order, as if I didn't in time they would send me a BACKUP order. To much to my surprise when I had put the order in the $60 I was told I would spend, was $85? the points add up to way more then they tell you!

When I got the order my husband was like OMG did you really sign up for this?? He had friends who had bad experiences. I did't really listen and proceeded to wash my floors. Can I just tell you first off the sepreating and adding water to this and putting a pump in that is a pain.

So BACK to my floors! After cleaning with the products I though I would throw up. I coudln't stand the smell, it was so awful! I wanted to cry because i had people coming over. I ended up running to the store and buying a million candles. I noticed all of the products had that smell that I just didn't agree with. neither did my husband. (fiance at this point)

I wanted to cancel right away but I was very busy as we were getting married at the end of november, so there they took money from me and sent me a back up order.. Of junk!!! Vitamians, etc..

I called after the wedding and they told me what i needed to do. In order to get my money back for that back up order you have to pay to ship it back! I wasnt told that, i was just told that if you dont like stuff you can just send it back!!!! So I was like what ever, ill give that stuff away... The rep told me to send the cancellation letter and as long as they got it on the 25th or before it would be cancelled. I HAD PLENTY of time. Placed it in the mail with Christmas cards.

Low and behold the christmas cards made it to there destionation, but melaleuca debited me again, and say the didnt get the cancellation. WOW!! So once again I will get that lovely back order.

I called again today and the rude cust service person basically said Oh you go to send it again, sorry! i said can i fax it? he said sure. I was like i asked that when i called complaining the first time and they said no. he says he is making an exception!! LOL is this a scam to get one more month out of you? He then says I can send the other stuff back for a refund. I asked DO I HAVE TO PAY TO SEND IT back? he said YES, I was upset so I said I will jusr throw it away! He says BUT ITS GOOD NATURAL PRODUCTS.. I said I would rather go buy some good smellling PINESOL!

SO I faxed the letter. I guess we will see what they do now. If I ever see the word melaleuca again it will be to soon.

Do it for the right reason

Don't sign up for something just because you feel bad or you want to help out a friend or family member. If you do that, then don't be surprised to find you are dissatisfied with the results. You didn't do it for the right reason from the beginning. Buying a product out of guilt is a very bad idea unless you are buying Girl Scout cookies. I buy those cookies and give them to my dog (sorry about that, Katie).

Send your cancellation letter

Certified Mail - Return Receipt - they have to sign for it - you get the little green card back in the mail SO YOU KNOW THEY RECEIVED IT.

That way when they lie to you and say you never sent it or they never received you will know!

you would throw up with that smell???? how funny !!!!! million candles........????
those kind of people do not deserve be a Melaleuca costumer.....they only need and deserve be a 99 cents store costumer........Melaleuca costumer has a totally different attitude ...I am so glad to be a part of this incredible company.......
