I was told 2 weeks prior to our wedding that Mark (the boss of Memory Lane Photography) would be doing our wedding photography. The day of, no one shows...and Mark is unreachable by phone. On Monday (wedding was Saturday), Mark leaves a message stating that he was so very sorry and wasn't sure what happened.
After returning from our honeymoon, my husband talks with Mark who states that the photographer he was having cover our wedding had his car break down Friday a few hours from Baltimore (we had a 3pm wedding Saturday) and that Mark said the guy (Shane Hasst) said he left a message for Mark but Mark never received a message.
He offered to cover the costs to have the church pictures re-shot...until he was told how much that would cost. Since then he has tried to dwindle the number to $0 and we're getting ready to file a lawsuit since he continues to be unwilling to pay for what he said he would cover.
Beware, brides! The price may look good up front, but NOTHING will bring back my wedding day shots!!
