We and other memebers of our family purchased a large amount of Dutch Boy interior paint that a rebate was being offered for in Jul./Aug. 2006 from Menards. After filling out the paperwork for everybody and sending it in ALL of the rebates were denied. I believe this was a systematic method of denial that may have effected numerous people as it appears to NOT be an isolated incident. A complete rip off.

UPDATE Rebates started appearing in the mail

Well well well, just a few days ago the rebates began showing up in the mail. I believe that the Rip-Off Report exposure of what happened may have had something to do with this sudden change in the situation as it had been over 3 MONTHS with absolutely no reply from the Rebate Center for Menards and all of a sudden the rebates begin showing up 7 days following my report. Coincidence? I don't think so as the odds are so rare that I and others in my family would have receive the rebate had nobody said anything.
