Main Event Sports & Nutrition Don't Stop Fitness Fraudulent Contract with ridiculous late fees after cancellation. Marietta, Georgia

I joined Main Event after a buddy of mine told me I should sign up there. After paying the ridiculous $200 initiation fee I got the membership for $15/monthly. That is when it gets ridiculous. My credit card expired and I went out of town for 2 months on job assignment. Upon coming back I received a phone call from LBAR's mistresses about my needing to get my membership caught up so I did not lose my $15/mo membership. To my dismay my membership after 2 months was $188 owed in late fees and charge backs.  Lonnie informed me that the credit card company charges them when the card does not go through and they are responsible for the credit card transactions regardless if they get paid. I simply laughed. I told him that my cancellation was in the mail and that he would never get another dollar out of me. I have never met Lonnie Barclay but have seen he has A LOT of enemies. I run a business as well and I do credit card transaction on a minimal level. I don't parade my customers about how much I am losing and about my personal life and share my anger about my x-wife and about how I get laid all the time but that is exactly what I hear of people that do know Lonnie. That is not a qualified owner. That is a talk show contestant. If you are looking at doing business with Main Event Fitness DBA Don't Stop Fitness @ 1901 Terrell Mill Road in Marietta. I urge you to think again. I still have credit agencies calling me 6 months after I have canceled 4 times a day. Clark Howard speaks regularly about gyms like Barclay's Bathhouse and they do nothing but cause you a nervous breakdown. Go work out somewhere else for the lack of equipment, less knowledgeable staff, no amenities, anything is worth more than going to this place.
