Merchandise Direct Double bills by sending twice the merchadise ordered Toronto Ontario

This company advertises specials on really neat merchandise on Fox 44 TV.  This is the second time in a couple of years we fell prey to their tricks, they advertise a good deal, you get two for a decent price, but when the merchandise arrives, the order is doubled, and naturally the bill is twice what you expect.  Trying to call them is totally hopeless, nobody answers the phone, tried for three hours in the morning and then again for another two hours in the afternoon.  Their return address on the package is 277 Humberline Dr, Toronto, Ont M9W 0B6, the phone number for ordering is 1-800-377-8172, this is totally automated and you never talk to an actual human being.  The number in the document sent with the pacakges is 1-866-304-4199 and this is supposedly the number to call for friendly customer support from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, but you never get an answer. There is also a supposed way to contact their customer service 24 hours a day on the web by visiting, totally useless waste of time, entering the order information will lead nowhere. I see other complaints about this company, how can they keep being in business with the record they have?  They will not get us to order again, the first time we figured it can happen and kept the merchandise with just a bit of frustration about not being able to contact the company to straighten it out, but a second time when this is only the second (and for sure the very last) time we ever ordered from this company.

I too was double shipped by this company and my bill was doubled. I called there custmer service department 1-866-684-3415 and told them what happened and they said they will refund $20.00 and i was told to keep the extra bacon wave. Now i did this today and will update this rebuttel when i see the the money.
