Merial Frontline Merial refuses to honor Frontline guarantee Duluth, Georgia

I have been a faithful user of Frontline products for cats and dogs for 5 years. When the product failed in fall of 2010, and I spent a LOT of money and time resolving a major flea problem, I contacted Merial to request a refund under their product guarantee. I submitted the required ORIGINAL reciepts, unused product, and packaging. I was contacted by Merial, and told I failed to prove continuous use and therefore they would not honor the guarantee. I contacted the MO Attorney General, who is interested in pursuing the matter, however, since Merial REQUIRED I submit to them ALL original receipts, packaging, etc., I am unable to provide the Attorney Generals office the evidence they requested. All I have is a post office proof that I sent Merial "something" and that is not good enough. After correcting the flea problem I switched to Advantix and have had no further issues. I wish corporate giants would honor their gurantees, not work hard to find ways out of it. Merial, over 5 years, made hundreds of dollars off me and my loyalty, and when their product failed, they failed me. I only wanted what they said they would do, and that was refund the last purchase which was 1 3 month dog supply and 1 3 month cat supply, about $80.00. Local vets and other people with pets also confirmed that Frontline seemed to be failing, at least in this area. Stand behind what you said Merial. A man's word is his honor. A company's word is their lifeline. Or maybe you are too big to fail? Hoping for a bailout when you finally irritate enough people that your sales plummet? I hope you fail.
