On aug 3 2017 mermaid towing and transport towed my picked truck from hernando to pasco. Driver unloaded the truck and presents a bill. I ask where is my tailgate? Driver does not know? I call owner and he agrees to take $50 off $150 bill . I pay $100 and driver refused to give receipt. After driver leaves it hit me that the bed liner is also missing I just bought truck that day. I call owner and hes calls me a scumbag and i am trying to scumbag his company ? I have no idea what hes talking about? He refuses to replace bedliner. He told me on first call he had other issues with the driver? I asked for the route the driver took and they refused to give it to me. Also refused to give bonding info to make a claim. How does a tailgate thats in place just come up missing ? Along with bedliner ??? Owner believes he is Above the law.

So we tried to resolve this issue by discounting the price significantly, offering a new tailgate, and also buying this individuals junk truck. He not only declined, but was belligerent and abusive verbally. The customer was a stalker that we had to eventually block his number. He threatened my 64 year old driver and would not agree to peacefully resolve this issue. Please find that his complaints are invalid and we wish to have this published to show that we did our part as a professionally trained and insured business.
