Mervyns TREATS EMPLOYEES BADLY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE INJURED ON THE JOB! Ripoff San Diego California

I only worked for this company for 8 months. Why? Read on! I began working for them in 2005. Within a few months of becoming employed, I was injured on the job. The dock was unsafe as usual and I tripped over a pallet that was sticking out. This is when my troubles began.
I was out for 3 weeks because of my injury. During that time, I did collect workers compensation, which upset them even more. When I came back, my position had been filled and they refused to give it back to me.
I was still in a considerable amount of pain and they made me work in the Home department anyway. I complained about my arm still hurting and they did not care. The Manager even called me into the office to yell at me!I ended up quitting and moving back home because of this company.

Another employee told me that a former employee broke her back on the job and she had to take them to court to get ANY money out of them. They overwork their employees and treat them like dirt. They overworked another employee while I was there who had a SEVERE heart condition!!

Since working here, I have been unable to get a job. Mervyns says that don't say anything about employees, but I don't believe that for a second. I didn't have trouble getting a job before I worked there. I am thinking about taking them to court.
Do not work for them! You will regret it!
