Chris... it is a well researched and documented fact that long term exposure to pepper spray, such as would occur in an enclosed space, can induce vomiting. I an open air situation the pepper spray dissipates and the only effects are on the eyes and exposed skin. In enclosed spaces, however, the pepper spray can linger and enter the gastro-intestinal system, inducing vomiting and diarrhea. I'm sure that when you participate in training excersises involving pepper spray they are conducted outdoors, or at least in a large, ventilated room. The primary ingredient in pepper spray is a mucous-membrane irritant, it scientifically follows that a large or prolonged dose would lead to vomiting.

Furthermore, when pepper spray is introduced into a large, enclosed crowd it can induce extreme stress upon the individuals present, which can in itself induce vomiting, especially when in conjunction with narcotic use. Just because you have never seen it happen does not mean that it doesn't happen. The conflicting evidence of your experience and this report probably results from the fact that when you have seen pepper spray used it was used responsibly. In this case, according to the report, it was not.

Those of us who have familiarized ourselves with Mesa P.D. don't take any tale about them as suspect. There are thousands of law enforcement agencies in the United States. The majority of them do their job very well and live up to the high standards we place on law enforcement personnell. Mesa P.D. is an exception, and that is why such an overwherlming majority of the complaints about police agencies on the RipOffReport pertain to them. I know that as a law enforcement officer you would like to come to the defense of your fellow officers, and that is admirable, but these guys are indefensible.

This story sounds suspect as mace or pepper spray does not cause vomiting. As a Law Enforcement Officer and a certified instructor of Chemical Aerosols, I have been maced and seen hundreds of people maced and have never seen anyone vomit from it.

It isn't Sodom and Gommorrah, but it has
about the same rules, and the cops are even
worse!

Sounds to me like hogwash, from several sides,
or in other words, a typical Mesa story.

This is what happens when you have 150 years of
oligarchy and theocracy, with no brakes on
it at all.

I worked at the Nile. Well I worked but I was never paid. The owner Corey is a liar and a supporter of the drug usage. The owner knows, if there are no drugs, there will be no crowds.



I've watched Corey warn his friends selling drugs when he thinks the cops are there or about to come in. I don't have proof but I'm almost sure the owner gets money form the drug pushers. Why else would he do what he does. Maybe he feels this will draw

more customers to the Nile. And it does. He is friends with most of the drug dealers. Fact is he does hastle drug dealers only the ones he is not friends with. Like he says, he will throw a bone to the cops to keep them happy.



The drug pushers hang out in his office and he even lets them hide in the basement to make deals.



The owner always brags the cops are his friends. I guess not all of them. He brags that he never needed permits to make major changes to his building.



The Nile has many fire hazards and code violations I can even

see myself. He brags, the city will not touch him. He brags he is a Mormon. If he is, he certainly does not act like one.



He brags his mom has connections and is big with the church. He is having sex with about 5 different underaged chicks that come to the club. I guess he is following the Mormon traditions.



I know, I have seen it all and much more. If I say too much more, Corey will know who I am. Corey is a money grubbing pig. Corey thinks his s**t don't stink. He stinks big time figuratively and physically.



I could write a book on this pig. Corey should be in jail. But I guess he has too many friends in the city of Mesa.



Corey, what goes around comes around. Even if your Mormon.
