terrible company, worst customer service.  All they want is the money, and after the install goes wrong, they totally ignore you.  They broke my garage door opener, and now they wont do anything about it.

Definitely think twice before you choose Mesa.  The service is absolutley horrendous.  They are quick to come out for your business,  but getting a call back once things are installed is another story entirely.

We ordered a garage door and a gate that were supposed to match.  The garage was $2200.00 and the gate was $1600.00.  When installation day arrived the garage had warped decorative window panes.  We called the salesman 3-4 times before we finally got a response.  On the plus side, the replacements came pretty quickly and the garage is very nice.
Our gate was a different matter.  You would think that $1600 for a gate would include installation and hardware.  And the fact that we wanted it to "match" our garage, would include stain.  Yep, nope, and nope.  Installation was included (which I will get to), but there was no stain, and no hardware.  Then they told us that we would need to go to an outside stainer that they recommended.  Oh, and it would cost $600 for the stain.  Now granted, we will take the hit for assuming that hardware was included, and that "matching the garage" would include the stain, but don't make our same mistake when dealing with this company!  Ask questions and make sure you get what you're paying for.

We stained our gate for about $30 and Mesa told us they would give us free copper capping for the gate (because it was cut down to a smaller size).  Getting the copper required quite a few more phone calls, but we do love our gate with the copper.

We ordered a new door. About 9 months in, we had to call for issues. Just over 1 year we needed an entire new door, and they wouldn't honor warrantee. Three other companies told us the same thing, the original install was crap. Not an ethical company.

Disappointed so far. We have a basic 9x7 white single car garage that we only need to replace a damaged door. We looked at the add and it said that $399 complete install. We first found out that a "salesperson" HAD to come out first to take measurements to confirm our garage door size, etc. THEN on another day the actual contractor can come out and install.

So that means you need to take a half day off of work for the salesperson to come out. He comes out and says that the add is only for an 8x7 garage, not a 9x7 , which is $499. I looked at the add and sure enough there is no "size" on the advertisement..... very sneaky. Who has an 8x7 garage door????

Wednesday we make a Saturday morning appointment install. Friday they say that the install is now changed to 1-3pm, not a morning. which we said, "fine."

Now, Saturday at 9am - they call and say that they can't install today and they might be able to do it on Monday. They said that they are a man short today and that we have been bumped off of the list (essentially.) So now we have to take another day off of work to get this done Monday.

Had Mark Davidson, from Mesa Garage Doors, come by a few weeks back to give us a quote for Doors. This was our fourth quote and Mesa advertised that they would beat any other quote as did Heritage Garage Door. Mark was very informative in all things garage doors and even offered insightful info on his competitors. He advised that this was his third quote of the day, gave a strong description of his products, and we even BS'd for a bit. At the end he said that he would match what Heritage was offering us and even give us a little extra off since I was military. Total price came to $1900.

Now, I am an officer in the military, who holds a Bachelor's of Science degree as well as a Masters so I understand things fairly well; especially when it comes to money and the products going into my home. We agreed on what product would be installed and shook hands. I advised that I would be calling him back since we agreed that Mesa was giving us the best value for the money.

I called Mark back today and looked to schedule a time when we could have our doors installed. We agreed on Saturday and when I asked to review what would be installed he described an inferior product which was not what we had previously discussed. I was ABSOLUTELY crystal clear on what we had previously agreed upon, however, in Mark's defense, Mesa Garage Door's was the only company I did not get a written estimate from. Unfortunately, Mesa Garage Door's does not match or beat prices as advertised and unfortunately do not honor the nowadays "worthless" handshake. In the future, I will ensure I get what was agreed upon in writing. My mistake. Good Luck.
