I was "sold" a 2006 car and told that my loan was approved without any issues. A week later they asked me to stop by and sign some papers because there was something that they forgot. They told me that I had to be there by Saturday or my loan would be void.

That day I had to take my wife to the emergency room, I called them and explained what was going on, they insisted that I still had to "stop by to sign papers" that day. I left her there and when I arrived at the dealership and explained I had no time to hang around, they made me wait for over an hour before talking to the sales mgr. Then told me that the loan was not actually approved and they were not able to finance me with that vehicle. I was stuck. They put me in an older model of the same car; it had a lot more miles and needed many repairs. They took advantage of my emergent situation.

I ended up having to wait there for three hours while my wife was in the ER. I also ended up coerced into a loan with a 29% interest instead of the original 6%. The finance company, "Central Finance" was a nightmare as well, adding additional charges to the loan and altering the original terms of the contract without authorization. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP & FINANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Metro Hires Stalker Employees!

Gregory Louise "Jain" also know as (aka) Greg Hopper, Greg Ramar, Greg Ford ( and no doubt a few others) worked at Metro Auto Wholesale on S.E. Foster Road until he was fired. 



Then he worked as a low end "grounds keeper" ( picking up dog poop and trash) at apartment complex called the Waverly Gardens, until he go into "trouble there" and was fired. ( The complex owners ended up paying a large cash settlement award to a family he terrorized for a number of years,  even after he was fired). 

Then he moved on to Ford and Dodge of Gresham Oregon, both owned by the same owners until he used a car off the lot for a road rage stunt supposedly his FIRST DAY ON THE NEW JOB. He was promptly fired again....


Metro hires dangerous people to work there lots. This loser was a "car caddy" but claimed to be a photography student at Mt. Hood and San Jose University. He makes claims of being a big shot in the media industry. He is just a fake person, with a fake job title--smells of Bi-Polar self delusional behavior. 


Our point is if they can hire this "want-a- be wise guy", as a car caddy, JUST THINK of what is running upper management!

My mother purchased a car from them in 2005 (late model PT Cruiser) and was "convinced" to purchase a service warranty.  These guys are practically loan sharks, no question about it, as they prey on people with less than perfect credit.  


In March 2006, she was driving from Portland to NW Washington State, when her car's engine seized up on I-5 at Longview/Kelso.  The so-called service warranty should have covered this particular issue.  My mother paid for regular maintenance on the vehicle, per terms of the service warranty. 

However, an insurance company claims adjuster reviewed the inspection by the mechanic and found that the car's internal engine damage must have been caused by neglect.  The mechanic was sympathetic with my mom's plight and believed that the damage was already there when she bought the car.  In fact, there was probably no real way to tell how the damage occurred, considering the car was used.  Logic would have it, that if my mother made regular oil and coolant changes, she did not cause this neglect.  Moreover, she is an excellent driver and takes care of her vehicles.

In the end, the insurance company denied her claim and she could not afford to replace an engine on the vehicle.  Of course, she received no help from Metro Auto Wholesale (no surprise there!) and she eventually had the vehicle repo'd.

Do not buy from this company.  They sell questionable vehicles and useless insurance products.  In fact, you should probably never buy any vehicle warranty.  What is it worth if an insurance guy can arbitrarily deny your claim?
