I purchased my Nephew a phone from MetroPcs, and I had his phone added to my account. I have been a loyal customer with Metropcs for the last 6 years. I went into the metropcs store, the sales lady told me that they had a promotion going on. Certain phones were on sale, and they had anywhere from a 20.00 dollar rebate to a 100.00 rebate. So i purchased a phone with a 20.00 rebate for my nephew, and I upgraded my phone, and it qualified for a 50.00 rebate. Once i left the store, and got home to fill out the rebate forms, I noticed the sales lady had mixed up the isbn photocopies, she had the wrong rebate forms attached to the proof of purchase barcodes. That was the first f**k up. I quickly realized that the information was wrong, and i corrected it. I mailed in both of my rebates at the same time, they recieved the 20.00 rebate a few days after I mailed it in on 02/27/2014. Everytime I called to check the other rebate, they told me they had no record of that rebate, even thought i mailed them at the same time. So about two weeks passed, then they said they finally recieved that one on March 11, 2014. That was the second screw-up. Now today is April 10, 2014, let me remind you that the rebate offer ended on April 9, 2014, how about I recieve an email telling me that my rebate was invalid because according to their records the service for my handset does not meet the $50.00 rate plan or higher requirement. WTF....I have a 50 dollar plan on that phone (handset), and i also pay 5.00 extra a month for ringback tones, plus 1.00 for metro block it. So i call them and i tell them look my phone does qualify for the 50.00 rebate, then the guy ask for my phone number name address ETC. then he says ok mam you get a five dollar credit, because you added another line to your account, and that will make your plan 45.00 instead of 50.00, so you do not Qualify. I told him yes I do qualify, because it doesn't matter where you give me the 5.00 discount at, so I prefer for you to take the 5.00 from the ringback tones and leave my plan at 50.00, Thank you and stop trying to f**k me out of my 50.00 rebate bullshit a*s phone company.
