Within 15 minutes of receiving a fax for a travel deal for $249pp, I called and was told the trip was sold out and then in the same sentence was told they still had openings for groups. I was told this was a 6-day, 5-night vacation, that it was open-ended, no blackouts, required a 45-day notice prior to departure and that we could travel anytime beginning July 25 and that the deal was good until 7/25/20.

I spoke with Rico (ext. 349) who I must say knows very well how to con people. I was told this price included airfare from Manchester NH Orlando and then to Cancun. It was all inclusive -- 3 meals a day in 4 & 5 star restaurants, room with 2 queen size beds, all drinks (hard and soft). The only extra was that, upon on arrival at the resort, we would have to pay $99pp for tax and gratuities because no gratuities could be accepted on the grounds. Okay, so now we are up to $348pp. I am ready to sign-up!

Now, of course, Rico asked for my credit card # to book it and because were two other couples wanting to travel with us, I told I could not book all three on my card. He told me I could pay for two right then ($498 total) and then I could call back and add the other two couples for the same price. Then I told him I needed to talk it over with my husband and I would call him back. Then the festivious mood changed. He said "I knew you were going to do that
and if you don't book it now, when you call back, the same deal won't be available." So, I told him to forget it because I wasn't going to do it without discussing it with my husband. I told him I would call him back and he insisted in wanting to call me back. So, I gave him my number and called me within 15 minutes.

I had talked to my husband and he was a little leary, but since we had done something similar to this just last year through Cheap Carribbean, he said to go ahead. So, Rico calls back and I tell him I'm ready to book it. He says that I will need to talk to his manager to clarify everything we agreed upon. So, Justin gets on the phone and is very pleasant. He asks me for my personal information and my credit card # which I gave him. Then I said "could we just clarify everything Rico and I spoke about" and guess what, it was all different. Now, the airfaire from my northeast airport was going to be extra ($177pp) because supposedly Rico was quoting me airfare from Orlando! Now, the taxes and gratuity at the hotel were increased to $150pp and he said we could have two rooms, not three. Now they needed 90 days notice before booking our trip and Christmas and Thanksgiving would be blacked out. I told him that none of it was acceptable to me because it was not even close to what Rico told me. Then he raised his voice and asked
me if I had done my research on these kinds of trips and realized how much money I would be saving. So, now the cost would be $249 + $150 tax and gratuitiy, plus $177 airfare for a total of $576pp. Rico, quoted me $249 + $99 tax & gratuity for a total of $348pp. That's a difference of $278pp or $446 per couple with a lot of restrictions attached. I told him I changed my mind and would like him to send me an e-mail stating that my credit card would not be charged and he said "I am not sending you anything". I asked to speak to his manager and he said "I am the manager and there is no one over me". I told him I didn't believe him and he said "well, then google it!" I asked him what I should google and he hung up on me. I will now call my credit card company to be sure a charge does not go through, but I wanted to warn others. Justin was extremely rude has none of the skills you would hope to find from someone in a management capacity. So, just beware!!

"..Within 15 minutes of receiving a fax.."
- Any fax you get about "deals" you can treat at the same level as SPAM and think that they are probably a SCAM. They should go right from the Fax Machine to the Recycle Bin without a second thought. You said you did something similar before, well you got lucky as that was the exception and not the rule.
