MGR Solutions Ripoff Company Houston Texas

In October of 2006 I filled out a application online for a grant. a few days later I was contacted by a representative who called himself Jack Hunter. I was told that I qualified to receive a small business grant that I had to send $449 to the company to cover the fees for them to find me a grant and write it for me. I sent it to the company and they said they had a 100% money back guarantee. I was told that I would receive the paperwork in the mail and to hurry up and send it back with the breakdown of my business expenses.

I sent the paperwork back and they guaranteed that I would receive an approval letter within three months. 3 months were approaching and I decided to call the company and find out the status of my grant. They told me that the agency sent them notice that they needed to do more background investigation on me and that it would take about 3 to 5 more weeks.

I called back and I could not get anyone on the phone. I left messages and noone returned the calls. I finally called the number I had for Jack Hunter 713-589-7183, a guy who called himself Bret answered and I told him that I wanted a refund on my money. He asked what was wrong. I told him that I thought they were a fraud and I wasn't waiting any longer. He said that he would put in a order to find out my status and call me back in a couple of days.

On March 21 2007, I received a call from this same guy and he said I had been approved for the grant and they would send me an email within 24 hours. I checked my email and no email from MGR. I tried calling back on 22 March 2007 and the answering machine just came on. I already know that I have been scammed. Because of this incident I will probably never trust another free govt grant web site again.
