Tecsun, the manufacturer, advises against floating and has had multiple customers of Michael Krause call them direct with same complaint. Diamond Bar, California

Micheal Krasue was notified of the court date according to California law. The case was continued by the judge and the continuation notice was sent to Micheal Krause/MK-marketing by the Clerk of the Court. He had several notices which he chose to ignore. I have copies of the original service of documents as well as a receipt of notice by the court. He has also been sent by the clerk of the court the judgement we won against him. I've called him numerous times trying to collect or negociate on the court claim. Never received a return call.

The California State Licensing Board issued a citation against Micheal Krause for contracting without a License. In the citation he was ordered to pay civil penalties as well as cease unlicensed contracting activity. I have a letter from the CALB enforcement supervisor saying the above. Since the ruling he has changed his website to include material only. Originally he quoted material and installation. He even specified in the quote "floating installation" which we later found out was in conflict with the manufacturers instructions. We still have Micheal's quotation.

I visited with Tecsun Products. They assured me that they do not have habitual problems. Micheal Krause installations were the main source of their complaints and they have cut him off. I called Lowes headquarters and actually talked with the buyer. She expalined that they had a couple of issues but they were being handled. Issues were cosmetic in nature nothing like what I was experiencing. She also explained that Lowes would not carry a product that had problems, Lowes has too much at stake to sell a poor performing product. To this day I find Tecsun materials at Lowes!

Lastly, with today's internet it is easy to track people down. Micheal has a business call azbambooflooring. He had a cell phone with a 480 area code. He sold assets registered in AZ. I found where he lives.

Micheal has ignored our courts, thumbed his nose at California Contracting laws, made-up stories about Tecsun and lastly hides behind cell phones, websites and a mailbox service center. He is still selling product, Buyer-Beware.  

California Bamboo Flooring was a reseller of Tecsun Building Products bamboo flooring. The boxes that where delivered to the job site had Tecsun Stamped on the outside and there was installation instructions included in the boxes that did not say do not install the flooring using the floating installation method. We only offer a list of independent installers and do not Contract with customers as a installation contractor. The installer was not an employee nor ever was. This customer has no contract with us stating so and had the right to use any installer they wanted to and had the responsibility to ask any installer if there where licensed, bonded, and or insured. California Bamboo only sells flooring products and no longer sells the Tecsun Flooring products as the quality control is very poor but we did not know at the time when we sold this brand. Tecsun Flooring would not honor the warranty after the flooring shrank. The main offices of Tecsun flooring has this exact same floor installed in the exact same fashion. I feel bad for the customer but this is clearly a manufacture warranty issue. Any customers with warranty issues which we only know of one should contact www.tecsunflooring.com directly.

I was not served nor did I sign for any registered mail.

I do not live in Mesa Arizona and do not know why this customer thinks so.

We chose to stop doing business with Tecsun Building Products as they would not honor there warranty as a manufacture. They also sell to the Lowe's stores and I have heard of many claim issues from Lowe's regarding the Tecsun Brand.

We have never claimed to be a installation contractor and we only sell products.

We do not know of any fines from the State Contractors Board of California.

I would encourage this customer to pursue there actions with Tecsun flooring located in the City of Industry.
