Micheal Pearcy Self Union City Ohio

 Micheal Pearcy was offered a job to do work on a bathroom remodeling project. It was to start on May 1st. Like in another complaint filed on him, it was very similar to ours. History of showing up late, not showing up, had an excuse for everything, leaving while on the job for who knows what, leaving early, etc... We paid half down and kept track of his hours worked which was sub par. The performance of his work was horrible !!! He spent time videoing himself like he was some expert !!! He was doing things that we didn't want done, half assing the job, spending more time googling ideas. In other words, he had no clue !!! He put the wall tiles up wrong and not even the next day one fell off and broke. He came out, looked at it, said he'll have to make some changes, loaded his stuff up and went about his way !!! He obviously knew we were catching on to this. In my opinion, he is a con artist all the way. Claims we signed a contract and an estimate is not a contract !!! He was assigned to do a task in a timely fashion and he failed to do so !!! He was terminated from the job before finishing and I asked for my money back in which case had an excuse !! He then gives an itemized bill listing stuff he claimed to do in which case was a load of bs !!! Removal of things means you remove, not us !!! Sorry, but 2100 dollars for 14 hours of work in 20 days is not acceptable !!! This individual may think he knows what he's doing, but don't be fooled by a con artist !!! I would not hire this individual for anything !!! Next time I'm in need of work, I will ask for references for sure !!! Basically a lesson learned after getting screwed out of money by a con artist !!!
