Hi,

I sent Michelle close to 50 articles in a span of one month and still waiting to be paid. The first payment should have been processed last January 28, 2011 however, she said she would pay a week later instead. So that means we will be paid on February 4, 2011. It is now the 9th of February and still no word from her. I am really concerned as she was always online in Skype but not these past few days, or starting February 4th to be exact. 

The rest of her team and I have not heard from her in almost a week now. If she has a big company, as she claims, why would she not ask her assistant to send payments in case she's out of town or in a middle of something urgent?

I really do hope she pays me and my co-writers because we have worked hard for each article produced and even declined other employers just so we can work for her in hopes of earning more. 

Michele, if you have already read my two other posts, I hope that by now, you are s***ing frisbees in rapid-fire succession, much like a machine gun. Yikes -- I'll bet that's painful. As far as who paid who when and who said what first, I don't give a rat's behind. I don't have access to your e-mails to see the proof myself. With that being said, let's dig right in, shall we?

Alice. Yep. SEO work can certainly be described as work paid for in "peanuts" because thanks to foreign competition who reside in countries where the cost of living is cheap and they can afford to outbid Americans, being underpaid is the industry norm. This is unfortunate.

Michele. No, no, no. You cannot substitute five original articles for 10 rewrites. That was not stated in the job description given in your ripoff report against Alice the Poet and I believe THAT would be considered not fulfilling your end of the contract. But of course, you love to change the rules (as I've mentioned in another report); in this case, you changed the rules simply because it suited your purposes. It's not Alice's problem you couldn't supply the stated work at that given time.

Alice. Who knows if Michele really did or did not request articles to be in msdoc. form. She is so long winded it's sometimes hard for me to not glaze over what she writes in her memos and various other e-mails (and even her amusing posts or ripoffreport.com. However, it really makes more sense to put articles in an attachment when e-mailing as opposed to inside the body of the e-mail. How long have you been using this new-fangled way to communicate that everyone calls "e-mailing?"

And Michele, it is totally inappropriate to refer to her pictures when I'm fairly certain she never sent you any. It appears as if you were trying to scare her into submission. Do your clients know about your intimidation tactics? Shame on you! As stated by you in your report against Alice, you are a Christian. Well, it's "Christians" like you who are the reason why I no longer worship in the House of the Lord. Thanks for ruining Christianity, in terms of the church environment, for the rest of us.

Alice. "I don't care if she worships a 'head of lettuce.'" Now, that's funny. However, I don't think she's a scammer, per say. I think she is a off-balanced, which is not a good trait for a business owner as it causes them to do stupid things when they cannot control their anger, frustration or plain rage. And yes, I took the time to examine my head and when I did, I got as far away from WV Writing Services as I possibly could -- until now.

As I said in another WV Writing Services-related complaint, a revision is not the same as an article rewrite. I cannot emphasize the importance of research. Now, I might be wrong about this but if the Freelancer.com-project was canceled by the employer, there should not have been a $3 fee (that you, Michele, should have never charged Alice -- a subject I've touched upon in another complaint). But again, I may be mistaken -- I've never posted a job on Freelancer.com.

Michele. For goodness sake! Of course Alice posted your BUSINESS website. She is filing a complaint about YOUR business. And you are the owner of WV Writing Services, correct? However, posting her personal MySpace information was deplorable! Let me emphasize the words "personal MySpace information." I visited her page and it is not related to her in a business sense.

What is wrong with you? And two new companies contacted you for work solely based on THIS complaint? I find that laughable. Wah, wah, wah! This is what probably the train of thought that crashed and blew up in your head - "But it's not fair that Alice gets to post my business's information but I can't post her personal information. Screw the rules; I'll post it if I want to because I feel a deep sense of entitlement. Who cares if I have yet again made myself sound unprofessional -- I must even the score." Stop behaving like a petulant child -- that song and dance is becoming tiresome, even though you've mastered it.

Anyway, thank you so much for providing me cheap entertainment for the evening. I appreciate it as I'm keeping a tight grasp on my budget for the holiday season. Salud!

HECK IT HAS BROUGHT ME BUSINESS, I TOOK 2 NEW ORDERS FROM CLIENTS WHO WAS CHECKING ON OTHER COMPANIES ON HERE AND CAME ACROSS THESE REPORTS!!!!!! I AM EXCITED TO GET TO MAKE MORE MONEY. 

JUST IN: Today, the editor at Rip-off Report suggested that I file a police report because Michele Walls, CEO of WV Writing Services identified my contact information in her complaint (which is prohibited). Would you really want to do business with her? Just last month, in another Rip-off Report (#613601), Michele Walls, once again, showed her true colors; I am the owner of WV Writing ServicesHe was given the clients instructions and he did not follow them. [This reminds me of her comment about the ms word documents; those instructions were changed almost a month after the project was completed!] He said OK and said he would rewrite them to better suit the client. Well his rewrites were not rewrites. [Whoa, his rewrites were not rewrites? That sounds so familiar. Michele also said that my rewrites werent rewrites. Maybe she should create her own dictionary and include her definition of rewrites.] so yes the project was canceled on freelancer, [Sounds so familiar] bottom line he did not perform to our expectations and was released from his duties, [Of course this was AFTER he had done the work. Just what are their expectations anyway? Are they high or low? Have you noticed how many of the employees who wrote in defence of WV Writing Services seem to have the same grammar and spelling issues as Michele Walls, hmmmm...] Make sure you read the last post in Rip-off Report #613601 from an unbiased consumer: the lack of professionalism will harm your company. A freelancer that has any self respect and is actually making it in this business looks at the rate that the company pays and the behavior of the company publicly. So it's zero for two in wvwritingservices case. In conclusion, I feel that wvwritingservices is nothing more than a content mill and a cheap one at that. I knew I wasnt the only one! I am sure there are other freelancers out there with similar stories about WV Writing Services and Michele Walls.
