I hired Michelle Gonzalez (Broker lisence # XXXXXX) of My Town Realty Corp to manage a rental property I own in the Miami, Dade area because I live on the other side of the country. She has been collecting the rents and keeping them. She does not respond to emails, phone calls or regular mail and refuses to let me know what is going on. She changed her phone number once and refused to give it me. I had to obtain it through alternative means. However, she continues collecting and keeping the rents for my property. I need the rents to make my mortgage payments. I have now defaulted on my loan and my lender is hounding me. Before she stopped communicating with me she gave me some story that her secretary had been stealing money from her.  I've been trying to terminate my contract with her but it looks like she wants to continue collecting my rents so she can keep them.
