Mid State Homes - jim walter homes ripoff Tampa Florida

i bought a jim walter home in august of 2000. when they brought the lumber from 84 lumber company it was warped the plywood was warped they left it lay outside in the rain for weeks when they had a roll of black plastic to cover it with. i had them to frame the house thank god they didn't finish it the walls where the studs were so bent and crooked i had to use a pry bar to put them on 16 inch centers, so i could get my dry wall to fit. also the shingles blow off my roof all the time.

i contaced jim walter about this matter they said they dont cover it after a year. the studs that hold the roof trusses up was not nailed properly i was installing my insulation and was holding on to the stud and it gave away and i fell through the ceiling and broke two of my ribs.

i think jim walter and mid-state homes should fix this problem i suggest everyone whom purched a jim walter home should contac me and maybe we could get something done about this....thank you tim
