Midas of Tigard Quoted $4233 for $600 worth of Repairs.. What a scam!!! Tigard, Oregon

You know, it's a little frustrating responding to this.  First you slander Tigard Midas, then you slander and call me names.  I am not the owner of Tigard Midas or related to Tigard Midas.  I am simply a customer.  I live in Wilsonville and the name Wilson naturally came to mind as a good login name.

I also reviewed Tigard Midas about a month ago on another site.  I did this out of gratitude.  I tend, as you, I suspect, to believe that car mechanics are out to take whatever they can whenever they can.  I was so happy to find these guys that it prompted me to actually write these reviews, something I typically don't do.

It should be obvious to anyone that by your immature tone your use of name calling, you are of little integrity and honor.  I am surprised that the moderator of this (or any) site allows you to submit these comments.  I would hazard a guess that you typically have nasty things to say about people and businesses on a regular basis.  It is quite possible that the world is a mirror after all.

I hope you find some peace in your life.  You might find that not everyone is out to get you.

The Midas people are awesome..  (Awesomely awful!!) I had posted the original ripoff report.  I told them about it.. Within a day they responded with some bogus info.  By the way, the same "reviewer" has responded to other reviews with glowing reports. Notice his name is Mr. Wilson from Wilsonville..  Not even creative. What dirt bags.

I've been taking my cars to this Midas shop in Tigard for the past 11 months. My first visit was for a muffler, as that's all I thought Midas did.  I was so pleased with the service that I began going to this same shop for all of my automotive work.  Over this last year I've taken 5 different vehicles here (wife's, two children's and my 2 rigs) for a wide variety of issues.

The range of work done has been vast: electrical and computer problems, alignment, brakes, cooling systems, air conditioning, tires and so many other problems I can hardly remember.  What has blown me away (and keeps me coming back) is their unmatched honesty and stellar service at very reasonable rates.  The work itself, in every case, has been meticulous, appropriate and professional.

The thing about their honesty is this: I have given them free reign repeatedly to "do what needs to be done" and each time they do ONLY WHAT IS NEEDED and no more.  I have asked them several times to replace parts or do services that I THOUGHT needed to be done.  But they determined these things did not need to be done.  They would politely inform me that the thing I requested to be done would be a waste of my money. 

Often they would find some other little and inexpensive thing wrong that was causing the symptom.  End of problem.  They've been incredible in this way and the 4 people I have referred to them have come away with the same positive experience.  There are many repair shops closer to home but there's no way I'd go anywhere else.

I don't know what or who this reviewer could possibly be talking about or what's motivate him to slander this shop.  I simply do not believe he is truthful, or is at least very mistaken.
