I am writing this review because it pains me that in the Macon GA area it seems there are few honest, capable RV service companys and I seem to have run into two for the same repair. On a previous repair which Turbo Diesel Electric, Inc. (Turbo), Macon, GA, I had a VP44 Injector pump and lift pump installed. Turbo Diesel during the process of the installation cut a OEM pressure fuel line and installed a rubber tubing and clamps to facilitate getting the pump on. The modified fuel line leaked by the time I drove the motor home fifty miles to my home. Called Cummins and Freightliner Custom Chassis (FCCC) both said rubber fuel lines in the vicinity of the engine is a distinct fire hazard because of leak potential and operationally a no-no because such modifications allow air bubbles into the fuel stream which can prematurely wipe out injector pump and/or injectors. In addition TURBO broke or in some way disabled the data link cable from the Allison Transmission to the engine control modual and/or the transmission control modual , causing the trans check light to come on and put the tranny in limp mode which would not clear. I then was referred to Middle Georgia Freightliner, Macon GA (MGF) by the FCCC 24/7 APP as a servicing dealer for Freightliner chassis motor homes. Had my MH towed to MGF at a cost of $575.00, for them to repair both the fuel line with OEM part, and to diagnose and repair the transmission problem, as TURBO indicated the did not have Cummins or Allison software to communicate with the on board systems. MGF indicated they had all the necessary Cummins and Allison software and trained certified personnel. I was charged charged $800 to install a $60 single fuel line and for one hour diagnostic time. Cummins says their book allows for one hour labor. It took them more that two weeks to install the fuel line. I had to wait a additional two weeks for them to schedule the trans work. I was called by the service writer to inform me the after three hours of diagnostic, they decided that the entire data link cable from the rear to the front had to be removed in order to find out if there was a break or grounding ect., the cost for removal and diagnostics allone would be around $3000.00, and top that of they could determine if that was the cause of the problem and they could not do the work for another two weeks. I emailed FCCC in Gaffney, the chassis manufacturer with all the diagnostic information provided by MGF and they said politely MGF had screwed me over and they did not know what they were talking about. They indicated That under no condition would data link cable have to be removed to repair it. They further indicated that my description of the problem did not indicate a problem in the data link to the front, in addition the figures and ohm readings MGF were supposed to have taken as reported on their invoice were indicative they did not know what they were doing or were fabricated. On one of my visits to the facility, I asked to speak to the service manager and apparently he was too busy to speak to me so he sent out the same service writer I had been dealing with to “resolve” the problem. I sent a email to the owner (CEO) of MGF while waiting for the repair as to some of the problems I was having and never go so much as a phone call. My MH was tied up with these people for a period of OVER FIVE WEEKS at a total cost of over $1200.00 to install a part which should have taken one or two hours at the most, as well as four hours diagnostic time, to say nothing of the diagnostic work not being performed and/or not performed correctly for which I paid dearly. It was made clear at some point to me by the service writer that MGF was not interested in servicing motor homes. Their service department is using over charging and elongated service times to drive away motor home customers sent by Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.

Avoid this service center at all cost!
