Miele Refused to replace dishwasher after 7 years of repeated fault. Vaughn Ontario

I'd like to nominate Miele for the worst customer service in Canada. And that's really saying something given the state of the Canadian retail landscape!

I bought a Miele dishwasher a few years ago. And every six to eight months since, the drain function has failed, involving a tech visit, time off work, and in the first case almost $1000 in repair bills… when the machine was just over three years old!
Every single replaceable part on the machine has now been replaced. Twice. Some of them three or four times. Except the entire wiring harness - that's just been replaced the once, during a service visit that took FIVE hours.

For the last three years I have been begging them to replace the machine.

Between the hours I've been forced to wait at home for the techs, their labour and parts costs, my guess is that this machine has cost us all four or five time its original cost. [continued below]....


I finally got a reply from the president's office today. He had the nerve to offer me 40% off a new machine. Wow! Unbelievable. My machine has NEVER worked properly and now they want me to spend MORE MONEY on a new one!
I thought when you paid three times the cost of a regular dishwasher, it would last at LEAST TWICE as long. WRONG.
Don't make the same mistake I did! Steer clear of this crappy brand that doesn't stand behind its products, or take any kind of responsibility for its mistakes.
