Beware, of calling these TV adds. As Seen on TV.
2 weeks ago my husband saw this ad on TV:


So he call to place a order by Telephone. He gave them his credit card information and per the add itself. It said buy 3 Rolls and get 3 rolls Free. Only $10.00 plus $5.95 P&H.
So my husband told me that we should only get charged $15.95 on our credit card. [continued below]....

..... Well I checked the next day and we were charged $89.50. I called my husband and asked him if he approved this charged for the Mighty fix it. And he said No. The charge on our checking account has the number to the company. 1-800-340-3418.
So the next day I said, this would be no problem, I will just call this company and get our money back. I was sure it was just a mistake. So I called this number. It gives you 3 choices. I punched in #3 for Mighty fixit. Then its said, If you would like to place a order push #1 and if your would like to check on the status of your order push #2. I pushed #2 and its said due to the number of calls, they would be able to assist me. And then the phone line drops. I called 15 time throughout the next 4 days and it would say the same thing. I decide to #1 to see if I could get anyone to help me. #1 said this line is no longer active. I called my husband at work and he wasn't worried, He said give me the number 1-800 340-3418. I gave him the number and he tried several times through out the next few days. He said it was the same thing for him. He was told that the line was too busy to take his call. By then it was one week after we ordered this item. (12/27/10) The line would keep say the same thing again and again. We are unable to take our call due to the large number of calls coming in.
So my husband decided to call the bank and advise them that this charge needed to be reversed. The bank had to close down our credit card account and issue us a new one. Our bank said they would work on to get the $89.50 taken off. Its 01/10/11 and the bank is having trouble getting a hold of this company too, get this resolvd. I decided to give this one more time. I decided today 01/10/11 to call this number 1-800-340-341. and I punched in #3 for Mighty Fixit and then #2 for customer services.
This time instead of a answering machine that would say due to call volume we are unable to take this call and hang up on you. I was put on hold with Christmas music. I waited on the phone for 25 minutes with the same christmas music. I got tried of waiting, so I left the phone on the table.
I worked in customer services for over 14 years, I have worked in 3 different call centers. And in all my years, I have never had a call wait more then 6 minutes on hold. This is crazy. I checked on my phone again and I am still on hold. Nows its 35 minutes and counting and its the same christmas music.

I don't think this company plans to pick up the line to resolve this issue.

I decided at 40 minutes and still holding that they are not coming to answer their phone line.
I have emailed them a week ago and I still haven't heard back from them.
If anyone is having the same issue that I am having please respond to my Blog. Its now 56 minutes and I am still on hold.

UPDATE: I stayed on my phone and was finnally anwered at 75 minutes 50 seconds. The lady said that 2 people were sick and they couldn't get to my phone call fast enough. They said that they could refund my money but the product has already left their warehouse. They told me to wright on the package refused and they will refund my money. I am keeping this posting untilI see a refund to my account.

This company is the worst in cusomer services. The only way you will ever get help with them, if your willing t wait 75 minutes and 50 seconds. This is a poor excuse for a company. I also checked and they are not a BBB accredited company.

This company use a automative system to take your credit credit information. You never talk to a person. And when your need customer service, Its pretty much non-existent.
