While looking for employment, I received email for Mike Clark, Sr. Driver Recruiter with EDPCAREERS.com.

Download the application attached in email from Mike Clark, filled out the application COMPLETELY and faxed it back as instructed.

A week later I had yet to receive a response so I emailed Mike Clark, I was told to fill out an application and fax it back. I responded and told him I had faxed back my application a week ago but I would fax it again.

Then after several emails back and forth (which I have hard copies of) My Mike Clark gets very rude disrespectful, well I know it wasn't right but I started to respond in kind.

The next thing I know is Mike Clark is making FALSE STATEMENT saying that I couldn't even follow instructions and only provided 3 years of employment history and the law requires 10 years. I again responded, informing him that I have the application I faxed twice now and it has a full 10 years employment history. I faxed it for the 3rd. time and the next thing I know is he is threatening me and my unemployment saying he is going to report me and my attitude to the unemployment office.

The I get a notice from him telling me if I don't stop contacting him and his company he will pursue charges of harassment...about 9 minutes later I get another email from Mike Clark with some lame excuse that he confused me with another applicant and wanted to apologize.

Well, his lame excuse in no way justifies or excuses his threats toward my unemployment or making false statements or the way he was treating and responding to me.

Needless to say, I didn't buy his lame excuse nor did I accept the apology. Mike Clark, Senior Driver Recruiter representing EDPCAREERS.com  wants and expects professionalism and courtesy from applicants but sure doesn't show it to them, especially by threatening someone's unemployment and making false statements.

Wow, so someone either got fired? or was denied a job?

AUTHOR: Worked here since 09/2006 - ()

POSTED: Sunday, May 04, 2014

WOW, Seriously?

I have worked for this company since 2006! Looks like someone got fired? Denied a job? I will tell you this..... The sign on bonus is $6,000 if you are qualified! You can run Local, Dedicated, OTR, Owner Operator, Teams, ETC. ETC.

Its hilarious to me that one person can come up with such a conspiracy theory! It's fuuuuuuuuny! NO OTHER bad reviews for this company, anywhere! HOWEVER, you are able to look up Emcee Driver Personnel in many ways? So how would you come up with such a conspiracy theory? Because you didn't get called back for the job? Wellllllll, do you get called back for every job you apply for? OF COURSE NOT!

So the bigger question is, did you get fired? Get denied a job you really wanted? Sounds more like it.

One thing everyone in this great country, knows some basic things!

1. Emloyment offices do not let just any company advertise at their office! Employment offices are state and federal government agencys! Which means that each company that uses them to find employees must be verified and conduct business in that state!!! (Meaning they pay Unemployment insurance, Employment taxes, Workers comp, FICA, Med, ETC) That is not ROCKET SCIENCE! No government agency will work with any employer, that is not a "bonafied" "verified" "legit" company! SO SELL THAT SOMEWHERE ELSE! Do you really think a Employment office, that is helping unemployed people, would send them to a company that does not exist? PFFFT! Dumbest thing I've ever heard! Employment offices also require unemployed people to report to a certain number of employers ever week, while on unemployment benefits! State and Federal government agencys also require employers to report new hires, Unemployment Insurance, Fed, State, Local, Medicare, FICA, ETC taxes! SO a employment office, that sends out an unemployed applicant, follows up with employers to make sure that applicant applied, rather than "working the system!" SO THAT is a load of crap!!! Stating that a goverment agency, would allow a company that is not real, to hire from their applicant pool! Work with their employent councelors, access their talent pool, etc! FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!

2. You are able to look up this company all over? Sounds like you have found several sources that prove that the company I work for is real! SO your stating that EDP is not a real company? BUT you are able to find govenment agencys, several web sources, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, ETC ETC ETC that verify EDP as a real company? But you state its a conspiracy? WHAT??

3. Make sure your looking up the correct company!! What the heck is Emcee Trucking? CE? Anyone with half a brain know their are millions of companies out there! I'm sure if we looked up a "Jewels Trucking" their would be one!!! Just because you came up with a DOT number that belongs to some "mom and pop" owner operator, does not mean you have the correct company!

4. Pretty sure you got fired or were passed up on the job. Because their are tons of employees that have been here MANY YEARS! So just like with me, ask a employee!

5. I would suggest putting as much energy into finding a job, as you do conspiracy theories! I HAVE TO ADMIT, that was a creative one! BUT WAAAAAY OFF THE DEEP END! Holy cow! I've heard some ringers, but this one is top of the list! Its funny, all the sudden you became the smartest person in the world and uncovered a grand conspiracy? Some company is working with the government to steal identities? BWAHAHAHAHA! That is the funniest thing I've ever heard! You should have a TV show, join homeland security, FBI, or something! Where were you when we were trying to find  Bin Laden?

I truly wish you luck in your job search! But many employees in many different positions are very thankful to work here! Good Luck applicant! Just hope if you were applying for the Janitor or Landscaping position, you didn't get turned down! Because they hire anyone for those positions!

Wanna know EDP. Here's a few places to start!

manta.com/c/mt1dgxx/emcee-driver-personnel

kudzu.com/m/Emcee-Driver-Personnel-17418344/reviews/

edpr.com/our-company/careers/

.indeed.com/cmp/Edp

Dang, that's just the first page of google results!!

DANG, ARE YOU SURE THEY ARE NOT OWNED BY LIFE LOCK? Or some other company that is similar? Just so they can sell you some ID theft protection??? LMBO!! Maybe you can tie that into your next conspiracy theory!

Posing as Trucking & Staffing Company to Obtain your Personal Information

AUTHOR: Jewels - ()

POSTED: Thursday, April 24, 2014

Mike Clark Recruiter for: EDPCareers.net, Emcee Trucking Inc., & Collins Enterprises

www.localtruckdrivingjobsonline.com/home.html

Has Profiles on Linkedin & Manta and advertises Nationwide including on states government Workforce sites.

Many legit web sites like truckersreport.com identify these companies as a scam because they promise the moon to would be drivers.

When filling out their application they threaten that if you don't fill in your social security number you will have an incomplete application and won't be processed first.

They say they have low turnover and drivers retire with them but Emcee Trucking has a registered dot #2436229 that has only been in business less than a year -September 9th 2013. Collins Enterprises in Clinton, MO dot #1000173 only has 1 truck.

Emcee Trucking only has 1 truck registered.  They do not have a nationwide fleet! We found this information out AFTER filling out their application.  They have my name, address, phone, social, and date of birth. Everything needed for identity fraud.

In addition to the Trucking Company, Mike Clark (common name) is also listed on many sites as a Staffing Service in St. Louis, MO. There is NO physical location available.

I hope the Government can shut them down and prosecute them because they are using state government dept of labor & employment workforce sites to defraud job seekers.

joe_trucker is a competor

POSTED: Sunday, December 15, 2013

joe_trucker is just trying to write bad reviews. He's the CEO of "_______Company" we will not mention.

His drivers that have been leaving, (because we offer more than he ever will) even posted online, he would post to truck drivers DAC reports, that the driver left loads all over the country! This has been handled!

It's sad, that a Trucking Company owner, uses a last resort. To post bad reviews of a Trucking Company, hiring the employees they didn't take care of!!

this review is fake.

This company EDP does not exist per say. They advertise as if they are a trucking company that does contact work but in fact they are a data mining marketing company that will try to get you to let them access your Facebook account and fill out an in depth application with your life story on it. This is very dangerous for identity theft purposes . All they will do is shop you around to all the major trucking companies that you can do by yourself. But they mislead you into thinking they are a company themselves with high paying & home every night jobs. This is a lie. The above review by "robert cox"  is fake. The company is one guy with a computer snd a load of b.s.   stay away!

Finally got my dream job with EDP!

AUTHOR: Experienced Consumer - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 15, 2013

EDP Careers, aka Emcee Driver Personnel. Had an interview with them today and cannot wait to start work. I've been a truck driver for many years and now I have found my dedicated lane I've always wanted. I hope to attend orientation on Monday. Just waiting to be cleared. I'm guessing I have the job because they sent me an employment contract. Not only did they tell me things on the phone, but they also put it in writing. I've never had a trucking job where they actually put the job in writing. I'm super stoked!! It's a contract! So they have to do what they guaranteed and told me about. They put in in writing! Super stoked and had to share with someone out there! I highly recommend them. Spoke to a recruiter named Greg for 2 months and finally my dream lane from Dallas to OKC opened up. This is probably a place I'm going to retire! Thanks EDP!!

Thanks,

Robert Cox

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Thank goodness for employers like Mike Clark with EDPCareers

AUTHOR: Experienced Consumer - ()

POSTED: Monday, June 10, 2013

I am so thankful for employers like EDP for keeping applicants like this in check. Sounds like Mike Clark found an applicant that was just looking for jobs in order to keep his unemployment checks comming in. You can tell right away this applicant was more worried about loosing his unemployment, rather than looking for a new job.

Then he wants to file a complaint on the company for calling him out? Hilarious.

I applaud EDP for saying they would report this applicant to the employment office. People with bad interviewing skills and the in-abilty to follow directions or do what an employer asks during the application and interview process, deserve to be reported to the employemnt office! It's people like this that continue to draw unemployment benefits without actually accepting a job.

Thank you EDP for being a proactive employer and keeping people from drawing unemployment benefits, wehn they could be accepting a valid job offer. Good job EDP! Good Job Mike Clark!
