Mike Clift ripoff Cookeville Tennessee

If you ever need an attorney do not use Mike Clift. He is only an attorney to monetaryily line his pocket. I hired him to represent me in a divorce case. We have four children. The case took nearly 2 years to settle and $15,000. to Mr. Clift.

The day before we went to court which was on a Monday he called me at home to ask me to accept a proposal that I told him I did not want to accept. He presured me in to accepting telling me that it could be changed later.

When we got to court the next day I told him that I had decided I did not want to accept the proposal he told me that if I did not accept the proposal he would have to have alot more money.

He had already drained my savings account so I had to go ahead. When the proposal was presented to the Judge it was nothing like what had been discussed with me by Mr. Clift. To further complicate things he did not even have my file in the court room.

The attorney that represented my x-husband was a Judge in the same county so I am sure Mr. Clift felt this might present a problem if he ever had to go to court with this Judge in the furture.

Since this I have changed attorney's just wishing that I had never used Mr. Clift and very proud of the actions my current attorney has made for me.
