Mr. Sowers as representative/owner operating and doing business as Executive Exteriors Remodeling / Executive Home Solutions/Executive Home Buyers/and also using letterhead from Bridge Realty, signed a contract with me stating he would purchase my home. My home was foreclosed in December 2015 with a sheriffs sale. That foreclosure and sheriffs sale was illegal and deemed as such and therefore voided through Federal Court In Hennepin County, Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 15, 2015. I had moved in with my parents due to severe health issues and not being able to work. Knowing my health issues were going to be ongoing and possibly worsening quickly I knew I could not afford to keep my home. After I had gained ownership back to my home I started working with Mr. Sowers.

That was in January of 2016. This is when we discussed the details, signed contracts and he was to purchase the property quickly so that it would not be started in a foreclosure process again. We met three times in person. Two of those times at my property. The first time was to see if he was interested in purchasing and people in attendance were myself, Mr. Sowers, my mother, and Mr. Sowers significant other. The second time was for him to bring over an employee of his company that he was going to rent the property to who could live there and also do some updates/improvements to the property and the people in attendance were myself, Mr. Sowers, his employee, and my mother. The third time we met at my mothers credit union to sign the contract in front of a Notary. Those in attendance were myself, Mr. Sowers, and my mother. He was to purchase my property before foreclosure proceedings would start. He was to purchase the property before any type of foreclosure action was possible. He was to purchase my home and I would in return be prevented of having a foreclosure on my record/credit report. I was to also gain a sum of 2,000.00 for this sale of my property to him.

The contract we signed at the credit union as he said "was to protect us both." I would be paid 2,000.00 for the sale of my property to him and if the sale did not work out for some reason I would still be paid the 2,000.00. I had my home valued at 220,000 dollars and now have it listed with a realtor for 189,900. Mr Sowers was going to purchase the property for what was remaining on the mortgage and I would come out with the 2,000.00. I knew I was losing a lot of money/equity by signing this contract with him, however the entire point in letting that equity go was to not lose my home to foreclosure and have it on my credit.

I honored the contract and gave him all of the information he requested in order to purchase. After numerous un-returned calls and emails I had to move on and list my home with a realtor. I may end up losing my property to foreclosure again because of Mr. Sowers lack of communication, lack of follow through, and not honoring the contract. I contacted him via email and was assured not to worry and that this process would be completed. I have several emails stating not to worry that it would be taken care of. It never was taken care of. He stopped all contact and did not inform me of ANY information about purchase or even LACK of purchase. I contacted Mr. Sowers for the return of the keys to my property. He cancelled once and then met me at second request only to show with no key. I am now in a situation where I do not have the keys to my property back, my property may go into foreclosure before I have time to remedy, and the money he said would be paid has not been paid. This money was to be paid with his purchase and/or if unable to purchase. As he stated "it protects us both."

I am left with a possible foreclosure, no payment and my keys not returned to me. His lack of communication regarding him not purchasing the property has caused much harm. I would have been able to list my house months ago without worry of foreclosure if he would have communicated with me and/or if he would have told me he was going to break the contract. While trying to get my key back he stated "I was in contact with your mortgage company the entire time." My response to that statement was "The person you should have been in contact also was me! You never let me know that you were not moving forward to purchase my property until I asked you for the keys back a few days ago." I have documentation if needed.  I also filed complaint with BBB and his response was that it was incorrect company as he is using numerous and various company names. His response to BBB complaint was frivilous and will now be remade with Atty General as well under numerous companies as documented on various letterheads from him.  No contact made by him to me until complaints filed.  I have numerous emails showing his trail of deceptive practices.  Targeted this homeowner who got her property back through Federal court due to illegal foreclosure and took advantage of someone under duress.  He needs to be stopped from doing this to another person!
