Miller Motte Technical College MMTC Beware of cost and lack of quality Conway, South Carolina

Do your homework before signing up to Miller Motte!! Do not let them sign you up on first inspection! The cost will be at least 1 and half times greater than any other local college. They will promise you the world and deliver none. The career development department is a "Rah Rah Yuppie clan". They love to insult the student, due to their own inadaquacy. Their job is supposed to help guilde the student from education to job. They are an embarrassment to the school. Those of us that are intelligent, mature adults, find most of the school faculty a joke.

You will pay way too much for way too little education! Unless you are the type of student that can adjust to unqualified instructors, very little quality class lecture, and play time in the clinical labs, you will leave there feeling as uneducated as when you entered. I took the bull by the horns and studied, studied, studied and learned on my own.

Do not bother to call or email any of the faculty. They NEVER respond. They are too busy and many are just plain unconcerned.

The classes are overcrowded with students that are only there because Mommy or the government made them go to continue collecting funds to live on. The marketing department continues to sell to potential students to fill classes that are already over burdened. It is what it is....A RIP OFF BUSINESS. I would imagine all the other MMTC's run the same way. The good instructors leave only after a few quarters, or get fired for speaking up.

The building is uncomfortable year round due to outdated HVAC system. Too hot, too cold in all rooms.

I won't even go into all the negative things. These are the basics. Just beware!

I could not wait to get out! The market for Medical Assistant is saturated. I only have a job because I was an above average student with an outstanding resume BEFORE I went to MMTC. I can not speak for the other programs at the school, but I bet it's the same story.
