I am an angry and frustrated consumer who got scammed into this product, Septic-Helper 2000, which is still sitting in its origional package it shipped in to my house. It has never been opened, but they refuse to take it back.

In November, 2007, I recieved several phone calls from a telemarketer. Many of the times I answered, there would be no response. Finally, the lady responded when I answered. She said she was from Miller-Plante, Inc. and that was about it. She demanded to know who I was and where I lived.

Eventually, she got it out of me, HUGE mistake. She then persisted to describe the product and would not take no for an answer. Finally, to get this VERY pushy sales rep off the phone, I agreed to their trial offer. She said if we were not pleased with the product, we could return it at any time, hassle free.

About 15 days later, we recieved this box. There is no phone number on the box only a return adress. I looked up the number for the adress on the box and called them. I told them I wanted to return the product and they refused to take it back. I then asked to speak to a manager and they said one was not available. I asked for their name, their managers name, and a number where I could reach them directly. The person then got very rude and obnoxious and gave me none of the information I requested. The phone call ended in a shouting match which accomplished nothing.

Since then, I have attempted to call them several times, both the toll-free number and the local number, both accomplishing nothing again. I have also recieved several phone calls from a VERRRY arrogant, rude person who says they are with the returns department. He will not provide his name or his managers name, leading me to believe even more that this is a scam.

He said he would not take the package back, but get this, he says he will give us a discount of $50 on a bill totaling 206.95. The catch is you can't have the discount if you mail in your payment, but if you give this anonimous character your credit card #, or checking account #, he will give you the discount. I laughed at his proposal and then told him he will not see a dime out of me.

The point of this report is to inform unsuspecting individuals just like me that Miller-Plante, Inc. is a scam and if you google their name you will find many lawsuits based in New Jersey and numerous complaints againt them on the Better Business Bureu's website.

Also, if there is a class-action lawsuit, you can count me in!!!! These people cannot get away with this anymore, action needs to be taken to put them out of business to prevent them from harming anybody else.
