I began working for Mimosa Health plans in June, as a work at home employee.  I was excited because I was currently looking for work to no avail.  However, I set up my home office (i.e. internet, home phone, computer desk, etc) to officially start my business.  Well, I did training on line with the recruiter/trainer/ whatever else she does via online.  Ok, I thinking this may actually be a legit company.  They tell you that you will be paid on the 1st and 15th via direct deposit to a Netspend prepaid debit card.  It was FREE to get the card but it proved to be a waste of time b/c I have not received any pay, whatsoever.

I started to get a little worried into the 2nd to 3rd week because all communication b/t me and the company aka Ginger Lay ceased.  I would repeatedly send emails and leave messages but no response.  So now at this point I'm completely pissed off b/c I have worked a few weeks for free.  The 1st has came and left and still no money in my account.  I'm glad I didn't actually sell healthcare plans to suspecting victims b/c they would have been trying to sue me and not Mimosa.  All I want is MY MONEY and to tell people out there to stay away from work at home jobs...well, at least Mimosa Health care.

Company does not communicate well

AUTHOR: Chonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 11, 2010

I understand the "agreement" but it's a little hard to try a sell a plan that people feel is a scam.  I tried my hardest for the few weeks that I have worked but to no avail.  I reached out to Mimosa via emails and phone calls but I no longer received a response.  Therefore, I started to feel that Mimosa was a rip off and that I've wasted my time AND money putting into this business. You live and you learn.  Thanks for copying and pasting what I already had.

Telemarketing Contract Agreement

AUTHOR: Company - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, July 11, 2010

Please review for further information our Telemarketing Agreement for our workers. It specifically states that if a worker does not sell and meet their sales quota that he/she will be compensated only $25 per sale. The individual who file the complaint did not make any sales which therefore means that he/she will not be compensated. The job paid an hourly wage "Only If" the IC make sales and only in that reason. If he/she did not make any sales or did not meet their quota to earn an hourly wage he/she would not be compensated. I have taken the liberty to copy and paste the agreement in this rebuttal.

Telemarketing Agent Compensation Plan

Minimum Weekly Sales Quota: 3
Weekly Sales Bonus: $20 per sale over 3
Monthly Sales Quota: 12
Trial Period-30 Days Hot Leads-48 beginning 2nd month
2nd 30 Days Hourly Rate: $9.00
Minimum Weekly Sales Quota: 6

3rd 30 Days Hourly Rate: $11.50
Minimum Weekly Sales Quota: 10
Weekly Sales Bonus: $40 per sale over 10
Daily Sales Spiff/Contest/Campaign: Yes Probationary period Ends at 90 days Hot Leads-60 beginning thereafter as long as quota is meet or exceeded
9 Months Potential Hourly Rate: $14 Per Hour Minimum Weekly
Sales Quota: 15 Weekly Sales Bonus: $40 per sale over 15 Daily Sales Spiff/Contest/Campaign: Yes Hot Leads-60 begin earning $50 on hot leads after quota is meet.

I,________________________, have read and understand the pay / compensation plan. I agree to meet or exceed the following goals and understand that failure to do so may result in probation, suspension, or termination. I understand that if I do not meet my weekly sales goals that I will be compensated on a per sales basis equivalent to $25 per sale. I understand that I am eligible to participate in Daily Spiffs/Contest/Campaigns beginning the 2nd month after my trial. I also understand that I can be terminated if I do not meet the sales requirement during my initial 30 day trial period.

Please note the agreement states that if I fail to meet my weekly sales goals I will be compensated on a per sale basis equivalent to $25 per sale. The complaintant did not make any sales therefore is not due any compensation per the agreement.
