Mini Getaways - Absolute Reservation Center scam Casselberry Florida

i bought a vacation package that was listed in my local newspaper as a disney area vacation for $250 for 7 days and 6 nights in orlando area and a phone number. when u call the number a machine comes on and tells u to call another number that the travel agency is now booking the orlando vacation that she bought and can no longer use so i called that number and gave her name that she said to give on the machine and they told me that she had bought a vacation for 700 and sum dollars for a family reunion and plans fell threw bc of a divorce and now shes trying to sell her packages.

they told me how great of a deal this was and the total came to $329. they told me i had a fee bc i used my debit card instead of a credit card. they also told me there were 6 packages and i was getting the last one! a few days later i got a package in the mail..with no tickets and asking for more money to reserve my "vacation" it also said i could have a cancun vacation for only 100 and sum dollars more because the original buyer had gotten it for buying so many packages with them.

the package that came in the mail was very strange. it was so obvious it was a scam. there were things spelled wrong and nothing made sence. i caught a few mistakes and called the company. also my confirmation number was different from what they gave me when i bought the package.

i told them this and everything else i found that was strange and they told me it was no big deal. so i called my bank and they then called mini getaways and recorded me talking to them. they told me i could get my money back when i spoke to a manager and gave me a number to call and when i called that number the lady told me i couldnt get any money back bc i was recorded buying my package and there was no refund.

also while i was on hold songs were playing talking about p***s' . no business would play somehting like that. my bank reported it to fraud to try to get my money back and i just got a letter in the mail saying they cant refund my money so thats great now im out $329 and i just had a baby and have many expenses and no vacation bc i will not send them any more money after reading all of these reports about this company! i am interested in a class civil act.
