Mini Vacations Inc. ripoff Tampa Florida

I thought I would just add my chorus to all the complaints against Mini Vacations Inc. I was the lucky holder of certificat No 85068 and sent them a check for $571.88 to reserve my cruise only later to be informed by mail that they could not honor the cruise offering me several alternatives to choose from in the spirit of good customer service. I choose to recieve a complete refund along with a gas voucher for $250 and a 10 day stay at a resort. That is the last time I heard from Mini Vacations which was several months ago. I did not receive a refund nor any of the other promised benefits. Attempts to contact them by phone have been unsuccessful and as other have found out, the Florida Department of Agricultrual that governs travel agencies in FL say there is nothing they can do.

As is always the case, when something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. I guess I will never see my refund. However, I am going the check with the US Postal Service. Since most of this buisness was conducted by the US Mail, I am sure that some mail fraud statute has be violated. We will see.
