I am always overcharged with this company. You are on hold for a minimum of of 1 1/2 each time & the response "Someone will call you back". Right now I am on the phone for 1 hour 40 minutes & this so called customer service representative is confused & so were all the other representative.

My story is long, but I am going to contact my credit card company & dispute all past charges & cancel my credit card to avoid future billing. I asked for a manger, supervisor or anyone in authority & I was told they don't have one.

I was charged for full service fee on my self service account & that took 6 months for me to get refunded. Now I was told that I am being charged a self service charge again.

I looked for their email address, non to be found. I asked the representative for the general email address & he said he doesn't have one. Not worth the h*ll with advertising with this company. I might loose some business, but I will keep my sanity. I'll stick with google.

Okay, I got a letter removing all these charges.

I received an email telling me that all the charges have been removed and I have a Zero balance. I hope the staff they have now care about customers. I hope this is true and I never hear from a collection agent again.

Superpages Idearc Media. Changes your area service so you can be charged more for clicks! They cheat so they can make more money.

My reply to their response:
I am in the Limousine business. If a client signs a one year contract with me for services & I don't provide the service, does that mean that client needs to pay me even though I don't provide the service??

In March of 2008 when I signed to have the Logo price change from $27.00 to $38.00 a month is when my advertisement was removed. I check my ad every couple of weeks on where the my ad is placed. I called when my ad was not displayed & I was told that someone at Superpages made a mistake when updating the price & removed my ad, then put my ad in a pay per call after waiting a few days to have it corrected. Again I had to call. I didn't know what that was as I only knew pay per click. The lady corrected is but is took 3 weeks, several hours & so many phone calls. I only was able to have my ad put back on if I signed this I gotcha by the balls contract. I spoke the Donald B***, why should I sign a contract after all these years. This is when more trouble started & someone there was playing with my campaign.

After that is when I starting getting phone calls from Orlando, Sebastian & areas I don't service. I spent so many hours trying to get someone with brains to fix it like it used to be. I was never credited for these out of my area clicks & I was charged the full price for the Icon even though my ad was not active for 3 weeks. I was never offered a credit for being overcharged for this issue or maybe some credit for me loosing 3 weeks worth of business & my time to solve this issue. They must have a large turnover because the employees do not know what customer service is.

The headaches don't end as I must be on their complaint list to never solve my issues. I am always put on hold for 1 on the average. $150.00 was added to my funds for 2 months & is supposed to be under investigation & 4 months later, no reply. I asked to have my ad stopped 11/11/2008 & according to their terms, I should have been referred to their Sales Representative & that did not happen. Like my other letter stated, the young lady told me she couldn't cancel my ad & did so anyway. I paused my ad 2 minutes prior to her, not knowing she paused it too. This is also supposed to be investigated because other girl said what she wrote in the notes doesn't make sense. I'm still waiting for answers.

I have enclosed a copy of a graph from their website that shows you how many Impressions & Clicks for March & April. Look how low March was. March is my busiest month & it was the lowest for impressions & clicks for the year. Because of my complaints, someone must of changed the area I service to spite me. October which is slower had almost 64,000 impressions & 365 hits. The most of the whole year. They played with my ad.

I am writing my complaints & all they do is fall back on the signed contract which is wrong. Let them take me to court for the money they think I owed them. They do not deserve to get paid.

This company should be investigated for fraud. Please review other complaints on ripoffreport.com

I will add this letter to www.ripoffreport.com with the other complaints that Superpages have documented on their website. Please make sure this company does not get paid for services that were not rendered. I signed to have my ad placed in my area & they didn't stand by their service.

Reference Dispute with Superpages.com AKA Idearc January 26, 2009


I've had so many problems with this company in the last couple of years to the point I forget.

Issues:
1) I was billed for full service 20% service charge fee on top of my click total every month & I couldn't figure out why my bill was so much higher.
That took 6 months & about 120 hour on the phone to resolve a $200.00 + credit that took another 3 months to receive.

2) I was receiving several phone calls from Orlando, Sebastian, areas 2 hours + from where I service. I called to complain & I as told that there was nothing I can do about it. This is the only way they can target. I was paying for these clicks that I couldn't service. Money down the drain. This took several phone call + hours until I did speak to an employee that was able to fix the problem & target the area I service. (Who changed this on my campaign has yet to be answered).

3) I received a call from Donald hat the price of my logo went up from $27.00 to $38.00 per month. Fine I told him, just add to my credit card, but I had no choice but to sign a 1 year agreement with no choice, they couldn't just bill me the difference. Well these new employees they hired make lots of mistakes. I was placed on a phone click ad & I don't even know what that is. She then tried to fix it & my ad was deleted for about 3 weeks. That took several hour hours to fix & many many phone calls.

4) I received a call that my money ran out which it never did before. I authorized to have $20.00 added for this advertising. 2 days later again a phone call that my $$ ran out, I added $10.00. I then was told that I added another $150.00 on top of my $150.00. The additional money was just for that month & when I noticed the following month went over my budget before the month ended I was told they would investigate & get back to me. I did get a phone call that it's still being investigated & that was back in September 2008.

5) I spoke to other employees about this issue & the investigation never seems to end. I asked to have my ad canceled & that was November 11, 2008. I was told they couldn't do it so I canceled it myself. I called American Express to stop any charges from this company & I saw more charges & I checked my ad just to see it was still running. I canceled these campaigns., why was it running. I called again, (over 1 hour again) to find that my ad was canceled by one of the employees 2 minutes before paused all my campaigns. The girl said she will request an investigation. This was over a week ago.

There were more issues, but I can't remember. Donald told me I had to sign this contract in order to continue service & service is what I didn't get. Donald has yet to return my messages to him. I asked to have all my complaints emailed to me, but I was told I had to request this to their Attorneys they have. So I ask when you send this reply to Superpages, please ask them for a copy of all my complaints they have on file sent to me or emailed to email address:

I am not receiving service from this company only headaches. I spent so many hours getting aggravated with the employees who place you on hold with no care in this world on how long you have to wait. Average wait time is 90 minutes & the issue is never resolved. I've asked for their email address & they don't have one nor do they ever have a supervisor available. Some of these charges on incorrect & the last 2 months I paused the ads so there shouldn't of been any charges. I also am waiting for credit that should have been issued to me for being overcharged & charges that should have been credit to me for not displaying my ad. Their records should reveal the truth.

I've enclosed a copy of the monthly charges. During the slowest season, I was being charged more than the busy season. This type of advertising is not worth my aggravation. Should they decide to hold me to their contract, then they should be held liable for giving proper service & pay me for my time. I would like answers. This is why I am asking to have my dispute to be upheld & if they like they can pursue legal action against me.
