Mitsubishi Motors Black Paint Peeling off my Endeavor Mitsubishi WILL NOT pay for a paint job Internet

I bought my Mitsubishi at the end of September 2007 and by February 2008 the paint was chipping off the hood, and roof of my Endeavor.  I called my insurance company unfortunately it is not covered.  I purchased an extended warranty on the car and they do not cover paint either.  I went to the Mitsubishi dealer I bought the car from and they told me they would take pictures and send them to Mitsubishi.  When I went there they did not take any pictures they actually just gave me a phone number to call Mitsubishi myself. 

I called Mitsubishi and brought it to the attention to their corporate office and they told me there was nothing they could do because I was the second owner and it was over its factory warranty.  I pushed back and it went to a higher board who also denied my claim.

I recently went to an auto body shop and the guy who owns the shop said he does at least one black Mitsubishi every month for the same reason.  In went back into the Mitsubishi dealership this past week and was told there was a civil lawsuit on them about the black paint on their cars.  The gentleman at the dealership printed me a bulletin about the lawsuit.  It stated, that the "involved vehicles were the 2000-2008 Black Eclipse, Eclipse Spyder, Galant, and Endeavors.  That ont he 2000-2004 models sold prior to 7/01/04 had a 3 year or 36k Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty; and all of these are "out of warranty"."  "The 2004-2008 model year vehicles sold on or after 7/01/04 have a 5 year 60K basic new vehicle limited warranty." 

This bulletin was issued on October 21, 2009 I filed my complaint before this and something should be done to paint this SUV.  No one told me about this lawsuit either how come the consumers were not told about this?
